Took my Mom to lunch here. Max (our server) was very accommodating to my Moms food allergies. The Chef did a great job. Everything came out exactly as ordered, water was refilled, bathrooms were immaculate. Super cute part of Kingston that I didn’t know existed. Looks like Nice France. Highly recommend!

This is a truly wonderful restaurant! We had dinner there two weekends ago. The food (We split an endive salad, I had a terrific tuna dish in a sweet/spicy but not too sweet or spicy chili sauce; my husband had a rich but not too rich chicken dish with mustrooms in a cream sauce, apple tartan with vanilla ice cream dessert) was outstanding in every way; fresh, skillfully prepared, amply portioned, and artfully presented. Our host/server Max was delightful, and added to the wonderful experience, answering our questions and advising while being very entertaining and professionally personable. The glass of rose I had was excellent. The ambiance is great; I love older buildings that have been been renovated well, and this is a great physical space. Last but not least, while not inexpensive, we were pleasantly surprised at the check. The food and experience were far betterr than many places that cost 20-60% more. We will return! You won’t be disappointed.

Had a fabulous meal at this delightful, relatively new restaurant. Relaxing environment. Had a wonderful waiter named Max. The ginger carrot soup was so delicious. My chicken palliard over fresh sauted vegetables was amazing. My husband's chicken endive salad was terrific. He also enjoyed a Leffe Belgian Blonde Beer. Definitely will go back when in the area. This is not a fast food restaurant. Food is made to order and served hot! Totally worth the wait!

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier with choosing Bernadette’s for dinner. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Our server was extremely nice and attentive, I wish I got his name.

We enjoyed a lovely, relaxing brunch at Bernadette's Bistro! A friendly well-versed bartender created special cocktails that warmed us right up. We shared the endive salad with chicken which was plated with care & tasted fresh & delicious.
Good variety of veggies in the grilled vegetable sandwich & I'm excited to try more of the cuisine with the chef's French-twist.
Overall a great culinary experience, cool conversations & quite a few laughs too.

Great meal. Started with endive salad with blue cheese. Quite good. We had seared tuna and French chicken - both were really fabulous. It was so nice and quiet with pleasant music. Super relaxing, while feeling quite upscale. Creme brûlée was excellent. Overall a super evening. Would go back in an instant. Exciting to see a somewhat new place doing so well.

My dad got the Veal and I got the Duck Confit. Oh my gosh! It was so delicious! And the meals were plated beautifully as well.
