We had the best waitress. We usually eat downstairs.

Went there with relatives for dinner. My first time there. They have an upstairs called the Penthouse and the downstairs called the Dugout. We ate in the Dugout and I was told by relatives that go there often that's the better spot. Our waitress was fanatic!! Food was great! I had the duck with raspberry sauce and it was very very good! Not sweet, not greasy or dry like other places. There is a decent amount of parking in the parking lot.

My husband and I are visiting from out of state. We really enjoyed our meals here. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Our server, Terri took good care of us. We happened to come at a time to get the early bird specials. We found that to be an excellent value. The celery and carrots served with the warm garlic bread was a delightful addition. We would most definitely eat here again!

Service was ok really long wait times had to give my water back because there was something in it. They bring me a new one with pink lipstick on the glass I look at my boyfriend’s glass and he had a matching shade as well. Was there and hour and a half to get our meal 20 mins before leaving. There were 4-5 servers for 6 tables and still had an hour wait for food. Friend fish platter taste great just like the old sea deli my Alfredo tasted store bought though…

I have been coming to this restaurant my whole life! My stepfather worked here before he opened his own restaurant in uptown and the Dugout was our family's go to when we weren't eat at 11 Main.

The service was good, the French onion soup acceptable, however my broiled seafood dinner looked and tasted anemic. No seasoning almost as if they broiled it in watered down broth. I ordered the tiramisu to go but after looking at the tiny 2 by 2 piece I told them to take it off the bill as I wasn't going to pay $9 for such a small piece. Overall I was underwhelmed.

Quality seafood, friendly and attentive service in an elevated but not pretentious atmosphere. Great value as well!

Came and got seated. 20 minutes and no service for a drink or anything. Talking about us to each other saying that we can wait and if we don’t like the service to just leave. Inappropriate at all ends. The waitresses are snobs talking about us so we could hear. Shame on them.

The food is great. The service is bad. Very nice people but incredibly slow and not attentive. This was our 5th time going, and its consistent with the poor service. Got seated and had to wait 40 minutes to order drinks. And forget about someone coming to ask if you need anything or if the meal is good, you gotta catch someone walking by. But, the food is great. So if you have the time and patience at least you'll get a good meal.

We have been twice. First with two people then with four, both on weeknights. The room was comfortable. The service was exceptional, and the food was uniformly very fresh, well prepared, delicious and exceeded expectations. There is obvious care and attention paid to every dish. This is an old school place, and considering the variety of mid Hudson dining options of all kinds, we LOVE this as one of our favorites along with some of the more stylish newcomers! First you get a simple crudite plate and some garlic bread. Meals come with soup or salad. We mostly opted for the salad which is obviously made fresh and with care. The homemade blue cheese dressing is a highlight. The menu is extensive; surf and turf, many seafood combination dishes (both broiled and fried) including a very nice Seafood Newburgh and filets stuffed with crabmeat. On the most recent evening I tried the Chicken Cordon Bleu which was enough for two meals. It was very moist white meat and accompanied by a delicious gravy. Our guests had the Seafood Newburgh, Blackened Salmon and the Seafood combo. They come with a choice of potatoes or mixed vegetables. We had the twice baked potato (great) and mixed veggies (also very fresh). This restaurant is the epitome of old style hospitality. It is not flashy, but it is obviously a labor of love.
