We lucked into picking Brickmen’s one night. We were delighted by the delicious complimentary fries and friendly server (Shannon). Myfriend found the chicken on his salad too salty, but my burger and side salad was great ($18). There is a small plaque near kitchen that explains how an ancestor inspired the restaurant name. I left with the sense that the owners are great people.

I loved the outdoor seating at this restaurant; it is very inviting and surrounded by cozy lanterns.
Our hostess was lovely and we were seated quickly. Our server was also wonderful.
We decided to get a bunch of different appetizers.
Lobster dumplings, bao buns, Kobe sliders, and short rib Thai dumplings.
Dessert was campfire s’mores.
The lobster dumplings were very good, but the presentation was even better.
The short rib dumplings were ok; I wish they’d had a separate ramekin of dipping sauce; rather than seating the dumplings in a shallow platter of said sauce.
The Kobe sliders were awful and dry. The Patty as well as the roll. There was barely any sauce on the sliders and the toppings were crudely chopped and unappealing- probably not me if the worst burgers I’ve ever had.
The bao buns weren’t those white squishy pillows of deliciousness that I was absolutely craving. They were brown and dry, and the prick wasn’t particularly appetizing; it could have used some sauce or seasoning. Not a fan.
The campfire s’mores dessert was awful. I understand they are trying to give a campfire vibe- but s’mores font taste Smokey- this dessert was so smoky and inedible to me. I was also under the impression it would be s’mores ice cream. This was a tiny cookie(that did not taste like Graham cracker) a scoop of chocolate ice cream- 2 brûléed marshmallows. And although the menu states ganache- theirs had hersheys syrup on it. It sucked. I gave this place 4 stars because I loved the menu items. There are so many tasty sounding items. They really need to work on execution. Cocktails were delicious!!! Ambiance was wonderful. I’ll go back- buy definitely would not get the sliders , bao buns or dessert.

The service was great. Appetizers were delicious and plentiful. Very cool that they give you complimentary fries (instead of bread). One of our dinners a little disappointing. The short rib wasn't as good as we had anticipated.

It's bigger then you think, beautiful back room with a deck and outdoor seating. The brunch menu has items you don't usually see, it's great to try some different meals. It did take a long time to get our food, but the food we had was good.

We knew this place was going to be good the second we walked in the door. The air smelled delicious! Our server KRISTINE was incredible! She was so friendly, funny, and knew the menu well. For drinks we got the peach old fashion and the spicy mango margarita. We shared a fig, burrata, and honey flatbread. My wife had the Brickmen burger and I had the short rib melt. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC. CARLOS in the kitchen is a culinary wizard and this restaurant deserves all the praise it can get. Run, dont walk, this place is it! Can’t wait to come back and try more things!

Went to a Sunday DJ Brunch for my friends birthday and this spot did not disappoint!! The frozen espresso martinis were flowing and the food was spot on. The prices are so reasonable for the drinks and the food portions. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place. An ad randomly came across my Facebook newsfeed. This place was packed but everyone was friendly dancing in their chairs and just having a great time!! 10 outta 10 highly recommend.

My wife and I took some friends here today. It was our first time… and probably last. We got 2 pinzas (pizzas) and a salad, which totaled $73 before tip. The “pizzas” were small and basic. Red sauce on a flatbread with some melted cheese. It was the size of 2 slices of regular pizza… Not worth 22$ at all. I could’ve gotten a whole large New York City style cheese pizza from my local spot for 18$. The staff was nice enough, but the quality and taste of the food did not justify the price

My wife and I came in last night for dinner with a reservation — and we’re so glad we did. The food and service were excellent! Shannon took great care of us — friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome.
We tried a handful of appetizers: the dumplings were so good my wife wanted to order a second round. The mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, meatballs, and cavatelli were all flavorful and well-executed. Really impressed with the kitchen.
The only downside for us was the drinks. We ordered the Peach Fuzz and the Bramble — both beautifully presented, but unfortunately, they lacked any noticeable alcohol. The Peach Fuzz, in particular, was incredibly small and tasted more like juice than a cocktail. The Bramble was a better size but still underwhelming in terms of strength. We’re not looking to get drunk, just to enjoy a well-balanced cocktail that gives a bit of a buzz, especially at the price point.
Overall, we’ll be back for the food and the vibe — just hoping the cocktails get a little upgrade.

I usually take visiting family Members and Friends to Brickmen for Dinner when they are in town or when I just want to treat myself to a great Burger or Drink. The entire staff is always displaying a Paramount degree of service. Most recently, Shannon helped me and even remembered my previous order down to the beverage I had from my last time there, combined with her genuine, friendly and outgoing demeanor made for a great dining experience. My favorite restaurant in Kingston. -Matt L

Wow. Im not sure where to even start. Actually, I think we should start with the AMAZING waitress Shannon. Not only was she knowledgable, she was attentive, hilarious, kind and incredibly warm. Secondly, The food.... simply delicious and so fresh. You MUST try the duck fat fries! Deciding to choose Brickmen to celebrate our anniversary was one of the highlights of this short stay in Kingston. We cannot wait to come back. Thank all of you so so so much for making this evening special.

Absolutely delicious meal! My friends and I walked in within an hour of closing as we were on our way back from a hike, and were kindly greeted and served the complimentary truffle (?) fries. The Kobe sliders were delicious, as was the shrimp capellini, tagliatelle, and Brickmen burger. Our server was very kind and checked in on us to make sure we had enough water and to also ask if we needed anything. A great last-minute find to end our 4th of July weekend. Also, kudos to the radio station or playlist that was selected! 10/10 music.
