Best wine bar in Kingston! Always a calm and fun time whenever we stop in for their awesome selection of wines (and a fancy dog and skillet cookie ?)

Every element was perfect from the candle lighting to the food quality to the wine selection to the place settings. Service was professional, courteous, and attentive. Adorable decor. This place exemplifies that high quality doesn't have to also mean pretension. Can't wait to come back.

My perfect spot. ?? Beautiful space, cozy atmosphere, thoughtful wine selection, yummy coffee, and playful bites. Run by cool people who bring in cool people as customers and collaborators. Came in the winter for an upstate weekend with friends and Brunette was first on the list. Does not disappoint. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!

Brunette satisfies all of my aesthetics…atmosphere, food, drink, people. Always a new wine or dish to try with a warm, knowledgeable staff ready to help navigate the amazing menu without pretension. Soothing to the senses, this is a sweet little oasis…one of my self-care musts (I’ve learned quite a bit about wine too)!

Best wine bar in Kingston. Honestly, probably the Hudson Valley. You will not find a kinder, more knowledgeable staff, with the best recs from the best, not insanely priced, wine list. That cacio e pepe ramen noodle dish is insane.

Brunette is and always has been the dreamiest place. I love everything about it, from the great wine selection and food, to the service. Oh and the beautiful decor and atmosphere doesn’t hurt either!! It’s always my first rec when ppl ask me what they should do in the area.

Where to begin! Brunette is the most delightful oasis. Amazing and thoughtful wine selections. Delicious food options. The best atmosphere in Kingston? Indeed. And don’t get me started on the service: Jessie and Katie behind the bar are magic! I love Brunette—run don’t walk!!!!!

The coziest spot in Kingston, with good music, delicious food (I could live on the buttered noodles alone), and a well curated wine list. The owners and staff are knowledgeable and lovely people. Love Brunette!

I make sure to go to Brunette at least twice whenever I visit Kingston. Great vibe, relaxed atmosphere, super friendly staff, interesting wine list, and definitely some of the best food in town. It’s a true gem - the kind of place you recommend to those who want something a little more local and

This wine bar has been on my list, for quite some time. The ambiance is modern and chic; strategically decorated, with pleasing colors. When it came to the service, I felt that the staff was not as welcoming, as I would have expected. All interactions were stiff exchanges. As far as food, I had the Ceaser salad, which was delicious. Also, the mocha coffee that my fiancé had, was great.

A nice little wine bar. On the small side with maybe five tables. Eight could sit or stand at the bar. Menu was not broad and was a little too eclectic for my taste. Place was nicely decorated with period photos only of women. Salads looked great. Staff was friendly and shared good local information.

I've been three times now and thoroughly enjoyed everything. While the menu is very limited, if you come with a tapas mindset, you can be satisfied. The atmosphere is super. Maybe don't go on a first date because it's so small you can't really get lost, it almost feels like you're on a film set. I love all the little details like the scalloped doilies, the pens with the logo, the water glasses. Servers are professional and friendly. I don't drink (yet I go to wine bars?) so we ordered affogatos which absolutely did the trick. The squash made my head swim it was so good and the butter noodle caccio e pepe was perfect. It was also very small and $18. But still, so tasty that I really didn't even want more. I think this is where to go if you want small and tasty. Also the bathroom decor is inspiring.

Great selection of wines in addition to delicious snacks. Highly recommend the black garlic onion dip if it's on the menu. Love the attention to detail with the coasters and matches.
