Items were either too salty or straight up bland. Tuna Poke bowl was not good at all.

Fast poke is my favorite new food craze, and First Capital is better than almost every spot I’ve been to in NYC. Lucky to have it all the way up here! The ingredients are fresh and tasty and the staff is lovely, it’s my favorite dinner spot in the area and I come here regularly. Options for gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan diets too!

Bit of a disappointing poke bowl compared to other places. Price point for a single small scoop of protein is not worth what they’re charging ($14). Salmon was not as fresh as other places I’ve had. Bowl was about 60% rice. Also watched as the person making my bowl take a cube of salmon that fell on the containers and add it into my bowl. this spot is fine if you’re looking for something to eat and nothing else in the area appeals to you.

I love this place! I generally order one of the poke bowls and the pork bao buns!

Edit: yes I definitely need to try the ramen! Also need to visit for weeb Wednesdays and one piece days; just nervous as I’m definitely newer to anime.

My favorite Poke bowl place to go to, I have been to a few and this one tops em all. I get the Old capital and love it every time. Delicious and fresh tasting food. Definitely check it out!

So, it's a late night at work, and we are getting close to dinner time. A couple of colleagues and I decide to give this place a try, because we all want slightly different things. One ordered the Vegetarian Gyoza, the other ordered a Poke Bowl, and I ordered Hakata Tonkatsu Ramen.

The colleague with the poke bowl was blown away and wanted to order a second poke bowl right there. The other colleague with the Gyoza was upset they didn't order more food.

The ramen... Oh Man... that Ramen!!! I have other ramen from places around and have never been disappointed. This place BLEW THOSE RAMENS OUT OF THE WATER. The Tonkatsu broth was packed with rich flavors, with the slight hint of smokiness. The Chashu pork was tender, juicy and succulent. I was in ramen heaven. There was plenty of scallions, with bright pops of ginger and garlic. And the soy egg... while my doctor will NOT be happy with the amount of sodium I just ate, I couldn't get enough!!!!! (Of the Egg that is)

I definitely plan on trying some other things on the menu. I have my eyes on the Spam Masubi, and also some of the Onigiri!!!! I'm sorry I didn't take pictures of everything, it just smelled way to good to just let sit there for picture. It needed to be Devoured!!!!!! Next time I would LOVE to Dine in so I can better rate the Atmosphere and the Service!

Really cute place. Very kind and engaged service. I enjoyed my bowl. I feel like the serving size was a bit smaller than im used to but overall a good experience.

Kid-friendliness: Atmosphere is cute booth seating. My toddler eats everything so he enjoyed tasting mom’s and dad’s bowl.

Don't order the ramen. Undercooked noodles, adding exorbitant amounts of salt and pepper on top of already seasoned foods as "garnish."
Beautiful presentation, but that's it.
Service friendly and patient; asked them to cook my noodles longer. Looks like they replaced my entire ramen bowl but didn't cook the noodles again.
Cooks have probably never eaten the food they make there or ever had noodles. It's inedible. (The ramen).
I'm sure the poke was great, but was too afraid to even try it after having the worst ramen I've ever had.
Not worth even a fraction of what I paid.
Left the full bowls of food by their trash.

LOVE the ramen, But I 100%
got jipped on my Cali bowl. There’s like nothing in it. Whenever I got them in the past they’d be filled all the way to the top…..$14 for this is SHAMEFUL!!! Come on guys don’t start acting like chipotle with the portions……

Amazing variety of poke ramen and Asian snack foods, almost everything can be made vegan and their selection of toppings at the poke bar is perfect for everyone of different tastes. They have both vegan seitan and tofu, but with so many toppings it's not even needed. Very reasonably priced and always fast and delicious

Vegetarian options: Almost everything can be vegan
