The food definitely deserves 5 stars. A little out of country experience for sure.

Came for dinner on a relatively slow Saturday evening. One cook with a grumpy demeanor and one wait person who seated us and then ignored us. A server brought a basket of what seemed to be toasted supermarket bread soaked in olive oil. We ended up leaving after waiting 25 minutes without ordering and ate at another place in the Rondout area.

The food was exceptional no doubt. Seafood was prepared to perfection & I am VERY picky about scallops,shrimp clams etc. in a fra-diovlo sauce! Service was very good,just a single server. Eclectic atmosphere, But even apps were excellent! Would highly recommend it.

We were a party of five ladies, all coming together from around the country for a reunion. Our first impression was to turn around and leave but we stayed based upon the reviews. The building, floors and decor could be elevated. Some floorboards in main walkways were rotted and unstable. Many tables were portable white plastic folding tables without a table cloth. We were seated at two tables pressed together, one had a tablecloth one did not. Our server did not notice.
There was one server for three dining rooms plus the outside seating area. She was delightful and worked very quickly to provide quick service nearly running at times, but it still took an hour for our orders to be placed.
The menu has many wonderful appetizer and entree options, and we were all very pleased with our choices and with the quality of the food. The food was exceptional! So fresh, such wonderful flavors and beautifully presented! The portions were huge and we all took half our meals home with us. It is the best pasta and seafood I’ve enjoyed in Ulster County in a very long time. We shared green salad and a Caesar salad, we all had a pasta, two of us with shrimp, calamari and scallops, another ravioli, another puttanesca, and another with scallops and saffron cream sauce. All delicious.
The wine and beer only menu is not nearly as impressive, however. The quality of the wines offered was surprisingly disappointing. And without an option of a bar menu for a cocktail, it did detract from the culinary experience it could have been. If I return I will inquire if they have a corking policy so I can bring better wine to pair with his exceptional food.
My takeaway is that the food is exceptional, the server was fabulous (but understaffed), and the atmosphere and wine list could be improved.

My pasta arrabbiata had dill in it (why?), and the rest of the meal was not much better. Service was super slow- only one waitress, though she was clearly doing her best. Overall, pretty meh. As someone visiting from out of town, I’d recommend skipping this spot and finding somewhere else to eat

Absolutely wonderful experience - when we went it was quite busy, and the staff all worked incredibly hard and we felt very taken care of. We went for my birthday and we're so welcomed.
More than anything, my GOD is the food wonderful - it was clearly the most authentic and delicious Italian food we've had in ages with very generous portions. The Chef clearly is a master of his craft - We would absolutely recommend to anyone in a heartbeat!
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Great atmosphere and incredible food. Watching Graziano cook while you eat is wonderful, and he is engaging and charming. Cassandra is delightful and a great server. Go eat here!

One of the best dining experiences of my life. Chef Graz created a vegan gnocchi concoction on-the -fly with nuts, capers, olives, etc plus fresh herbs that was amazing. So many tastes and surprisingly light. This cozy nook has casual ambience being at a great chef friend’s home in Italy. I will be back!
