I have never stepped foot in home plate deli, but knew I needed to order catering for a large event that I had and I wanted to get a 10 foot sub ASAP.
I went through Google reviews and called the top. Reviewed places. I had a good feeling about home plate deli and i’m glad I trusted my gut.
I just picked up one; 6-foot sub and one; 3 foot sub. They were absolutely beautiful. I was greeted by the owner and the chef and they both were so lovely and welcoming.
There was a small communication error in which they handled it with professionalism and thinking about me as a customer first.
I will absolutely be ordering from them in the future, not only because of the customer service, but also because of the presentation of this incredible sub.

I used to go to this deli all the time when I worked in the area. I went today for the first time in 10+ years and I won't be going back. I ordered an egg salad with bacon on a roll. The roll was stale and there was barely any egg salad on it. It isn't what it used to be, sadly. I spent $21 on 2 sandwiches and a small bag of chips. Not worth it. The one bright spot Iwas the older woman running the register. She was very kind and professional.

Put and order in from my wife's 50th birthday event. All the catering came from Home Plate! The fried ravioli was incredible. The bucca was awesome. Everything was delicious and delivered to the event and even put it in the ovens for me. They made sure everything was perfect and even brought utensils to serve it out of the hotel pans. The cost was ok, but I would have paid more for that quality of food.

I don't know what has happened in the past year but quality and customer satisfaction have gone drastically down hill. This use to be my go to deli in Kingston. My last experience I ordered a roast beef sub and there was barely any meat on it. The rolls changed from diesings to another brand. They also can't seem to cook an over easy egg 3 out of 5 times. A real shame that the owners seem not to care anymore.

If I could give 10 more stars I would. There’s not enough praise. Home Plate deli catered my wedding this week and I was so impressed and grateful that I chose them to cater. Every bride worries about the little details of her wedding but Abraham and his staff went above and beyond for us. They were on top of everything .The food was better than I could have ever imagine , my guests had clean plates . Many wanted seconds and third. I will highly recommend them for any event amd will use them for any future events myself.

Have eaten there a zillion times in the past, every day for years. went just now first time in gotta be 4-5 years. got the same thing i used to get - a double double with a hash brown on it (bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with 2 eggs) and a small orange juice.
it was the same decent sandwich as it used to be, but it was 18.50. are you kidding me? never going again. 0% chance.

I love the home plate deli. I love everyone who works there. I love my honey ham and Swiss cheese sandwich. I love that they know me when I call and draw on my take out bag :) it's really such a pleasure to stop there when I can.

I usually order from here at least once a week bc it fits with my dietary needs. The staff is always great my sandwich is always delicious I have never had an issue. Today though i did and they went above and beyond to make it right I appreciate that so much!!!

I have been going here since I was a kid (now 30) and this place has always been that Spot for a good sub! Since the new owners this place has went way down! I order a sub .get all the way home (just got out of work ) just to see there is slim to no meat on this ! I literally asked for a simple salami ,ham mayo and tomato sub and all I received was a sub with pretty much mayo ! And they forgot the tomatoes ! I called asked to speak to the manager and was told they put a good portion of meat that is weighed out what a joke !!! And I paid $12 for this sub I'll never be back ! And from the reviews I'm not the only one this happened too !
