I hosted a party for 10 people at Lone Wolf to celebrate my son's engagement. The owner and staff could not have been better to work with! They were completely accommodating and totally on top of our table's questions and requests on a busy Friday night. The cocktail menu is fascinating and unusual and our drinks were 100% on point. The food (we had small plates and desserts) was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The ambiance is elegant, delightful, and cozy. My friends and I could not have been more impressed. We had a grand time and cannot wait to come back. Thank you to everyone there for making my event such a big success!

This was such a cool bar. The staff has clearly put a lot of effort and care into decorating this bar. The staff was super friendly! My girlfriend has a serious nut allergy and the bartender was kind enough to let me see the label for one of the drink ingredients to make sure it didn't have nuts in it. We actually ran into one of the bartenders and servers at a local pizza shop nearby and they were so kind to invite us to the bar's upcoming anniversary party as well as buy us shots. I would definitely come back and this was the highlight of our stay in the Rhinebeck area.

I’m very particular about meatballs & these were very good. The bao buns were the fluffiest, most delicious I’ve had. We got the duck option. Crispy rice on the tuna small plate was perfection - just spicy enough. Corn ribs are delicious. Remember to pick them up and eat them like corn on the cob. We had a little entertainment watching the tables around us try to cut through the tough cobs while trying to be neat and proper. They should come with instructions. the buttery sauce is delicious so dip to lap that up and enjoy! Steak dinner was good too. Sticky rice and combo pickled/sautéed veggies were wonderful.
Dessert was an absolute joy! The panna cotta was wonderful. The berries and coconut make it so delicious! Most unique one we’ve ever had. Also unique but even more surprisingly delicious is the Ube Cheesecake. I can’t describe it. It’s different than anything we’ve ever had. It’s almost addictive.
The drink menu was awesome. It’s so fun to read. Plan to spend some time here and enjoy the creator’s extreme creativity. They have excellent zero proof options. We actually chose peas tea & added vodka. They have a great selection of local spirits. Don’t ask for Hendricks or Titos - you won’t find those commercial labels at Lone Wolf. All this food was enough for 4 people. The bill was reasonably priced. This place is perfect because it’s smart, thoughtful, high-end, quality ingredients status but not pretentious or expensive. We love it.
To say my experience there was 10/10 is a understatement. My wife and I fell in love with the previously located tiki bar in New paltz on a random pick on our first anniversary vacation in New paltz. So we knew on our next time out in the area we would be coming to lone wolf to check it out. Anton and Lisa stepped up there game with lone wolf to a level that is rarely seen with food and drinks. We were treated like family out there and for our 3rd anniversary they made it a night to remember. The food, and atmosphere were amazing 10/10. But the real star is the drinks. Its hard to even rate on a scale because I have never had a experience quiet like it. If you are in the area make this a destination for your night out. I cannot praise them enough on everything they do! You can clearly see they love what they do, and it shows in every aspect. This is gonna become our go to for every trip we make out there from now on.

We were looking for a spot for after-dinner drinks that was open late and found this gem (open till midnight on Saturday). First time here and loved it! The bartender/owner was super friendly and makes amazing cocktails — We had the Negroni, Kentucky Duck, What the Phở, and Naked & Famous, all excellent. We also tried the Rice Crispy Tuna (crispy rice, jalapeño, avocado, tuna) — such a good umami kick with the perfect crunch. Drinks were $16, the app was $17. Great vibes, and we’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

Really nice environment. Dark yet inviting and enjoyable. Sat at the bar for drinks one night. Owner is really friendly and will tell you the history of the drinks. Bar menu is small but tasty. Very wide selection of complex tasting drinks. Food is very good and unique. I did notice a slight difference in food quality on a busy vs slow night, but that's to be expected. Definitely reserve ahead of time. Small space but was still quiet and intimate. Great for a date.

My husband and I hosted our small wedding reception at Lone Wolf last month, which was truly everything we dreamed of. It was intimate and fun and almost reminiscent of a house party but in a super stylish space with exceptional service, gorgeous drinks (the flower garnish in the Foxhall Shakedown brought me more joy than I'd like to admit), and delicious food. I say that because it felt so comfortable - with different areas to mingle in, nothing felt forced and even the genesis of the dance floor(s) came about naturally. I have to say that we were really blown away by the service, with a special shout out to a staff member who was bringing the two of us refills throughout the night unprompted - an unexpected and much appreciated gesture. Actually, several of our guests complimented the service after noticing the going of the extra mile. I can't emphasize enough how perfect everything was and how phenomenal Anton, his staff, and this restaurant are. Anton was responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout the process of planning/executing this and the night was seriously flawless in our eyes!

Anton and his staff were so wonderful! The food was amazing. We had the mushroom bao bun and I have never had such a soft pillowie bao like that with so much flavor in the filling. The Korean ribs were amazing! Fall off the bone and so flavorful! If I lived closer, I would be there everyday just to have those ribs! Dumplings were also so delicious. Anton went above and beyond and gave my husband and I a little sampling of his Rums with a wonderful explanation of each! Amazing to taste how different Rums can actually be dependent of the region it came from. Thank you so much! We will make sure to stop in again when we are back in Kingston! Vivian
