Went There for a birthday dinner. Love mexican food so was excited about the enchildas. I had the shrimp and spinach enchildas and beef nachos. Enchiladas Were Very filling but the cheese was overbearing. Found it interesting they have vegetarian options for people. Also it was unique to see flowers and oranges in the food. The chips and salsa is awesome. Nachos were delicious and could be filling for two people. Host was polite and sweet too.

Really great food here. Not a chain and used to be another popular restaurant.
I finally got to bring my vegan husband there as I saw that there was multiple things for him to choose from.
The service is always very friendly as I’ve eaten here about three times. Best Mexican food in Ulster County.

Cozy spot with friendly waiters/waitresses. Real authentic Mexican food, no fluff or anything fancy. Definitely going to be a go-to spot from now on. My partner and I shared a carne asada and got some drinks. Price was really affordable and I'll surely recommend this place to my friends.

Mediocre food. Roach crawled out of my husband's plate .We discretely told the server who could not have been any less interested. Needless to say, we will never return.

We had dinner at the Kingston location for the first time last night. We ate at the bar after a round of drinks and some chips and salsa. I had their special fresh orange Grand Marnier margarita which was delicious. We had tacos carnitas and a chicken quesadilla and everything was excellent! Mayra took great care of us as our bartender and server!

Went for dinner after having friends rave about the food. They did I nice job making this a Mexican restaurant after the wing joint forever. Monday night so not busy. Food was good and came out in a timely fashion. The service could have been better on the refills, the waiter was very polite. I would dine again.

On impulse I went to Los Jalapeños Mexican Grill on Ulster Ave in Kingston yesterday afternoon. I felt welcomed even though I was a party of one (which in some places is not always the case). The chips were hot and the salsa was delicious. When I told them how tasty the salsa was they brought me some more! The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered one of the specials, grilled salmon. It came with rice, beans, avocado, pico de gallo, sour cream, fresh mango salsa, and what had to be fresh local tomato. In addition, the meal was served with a salad. The plate was arranged beautifully, but more importantly it was absolutely delicious! It was a generous portion of salmon and seasoned and cooked to perfection!. I also ordered a club soda, but they have a full bar and many tasty looking drink specials. The card total was $24.66 which would have been well worth it even if I didn’t bring a portion home for a lunch the next day. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back with some friends!

I had a great first experience here. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. They're also using unexpected (but totally welcome) ingredients — like my vegetable fajitas came with tofu. Really nice staff, food came out quickly and I loved every bite! That said, I got take out. I think dining in would be a little uncomfortable because the lighting is so bright and harsh. They could stand to create a more inviting ambience. I'll definitely be back soon.

I would not call this Mexican food l.
The cheese dip is yellow not even white and it taste like it come out of a can and the salsa taste like marinara sauce for like cheese stick
