We are not Mexican and just felt weird. Ten years ago I went there quite a bit. Then it was so much more inviting and food was much better! Its sad to not want to go there anymore!

We went there for shrimp and tried one dish that was grilled and one that was fried and both were delicious and presented beautifully. A little rough to get in with a wheelchair but it was worth it.Vegetarian options: Great place for pescatarians, I'm sure you could order any dish like a quesadilla or burrito without meat.Parking: We were there on Friday night and there were plenty of spots right in front and on the side.

Mi Casita is a cosy, comfortable small restaurant with excellent food. The server was friendly, the food came out quickly and was all fresh. It’s very reasonably priced — dinner for 3 with leftovers for one more serving was $65 after a tip. Pollo guisado, plantains, and shrimp soup all highly recommended.

Delicious food in a true Hispanic restaurant.Parking: Got lucky and got the parking spot right in front of the restaurant.
The variety platter for approx $30 was well worth it for two hungry adults and quesadilla for my son! Delicious! And the horchata was most excellent.Kid-friendliness: I counted 4 high chairs ... As well as a family with a child when we arrived with my 13 yo in tow.

Great food. I happened to order a little late, so my apologies to the restaurant! Tastes amazing, portioned reasonably. I did get food poisoning the day after eating here, but literally the food is so good I will be returning regardless. Everything is clean and fresh- I think I just got a bad batch of lettuce or something.
I hate to write a poor review. But times what they are and people being careful with money...I just wanted to caution those who consider going out for a dinner an extravagance: you can do better than this restaurant.In a town with more than 10 Mexican restaurants, this one fails to stand out. I took a 16-year old boy and he ate only half his burrito. He simply just didn't like it. My tacos were small and just ok. The chicken tamale was all breading except for a half a chicken wing buried in it (????). And the service was slow and indifferent...even though we were the only people in the whole place. Decor looks like it hasn't been changed in decades. The whole meal cost (with two drinks and chips/guac) was only $24 which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. But for a few extra $$$, you can do much better at Diego's, just a few blocks away.

I found your place through DoorDash, so you should be happy I ordered through them, and not be referring me to your site, which I wouldn't have been actively looking for. I have a few favorite places in Kingston and figured I'd try you based on the DoorDash recommendation.
