The best vegetarian/vegan fast food option in town! Their burgers are really good and the shakes are incredible. They have beef now if you want it. The line can move kind of slowly, so you may have to wait if you visit during peak meal times. They are drive-thru only, but I usually park along the side road and eat my burger.
I watched John Lubrano's Facebook video of him eating a burger at this place. 5 stars all day long!
Food is expensive and mid tbh!
Vegan burgers so yummmy
This place has declined a LOT. Yesterday I got the brownie batter shake and it was not at all what it used to be! It tasted sour like yogurt. My kids didn’t like it and they’re kids! It used to be the best vegan milkshake ever and now it’s sludge. I think it’s likely why I woke up feeling very sick.
With a sleepy two year old I now totally appreciate a drive thru.
Great burgers and shakes
Great quick (drive thru only) burger!
Burger takeout place with GF buns and impossible burgers!
Great food. Use the website to order ahead and walk up. Don't need no fossil fuels waiting in your car. The options are great either vegan or meat.
This place used to be amazing, but the owner is expanding way too fast, without consideration for their already stretched thin work-staff. We waited for a FULL HOUR and they got our orders wrong
Restaurantji Recommends
We waited in a drive-thru for an hour and got the wrong order completely. We used to emphatically recommend this place and now will never return. People that arrived after us saw how long the line was, used the online order option, and received their food before we even got to place our order. That is an asinine method to fill orders. After being trapped in the line for an hour, and despite clearly ordering two vegetarian combos and having confirmed it at the window, we received TWO BEEF BURGERS. After waiting another 5-10 mins we finally got hastily cooked burgers that tasted like pepper and char, clearly undercooked. Luckily we don’t have beef allergies, but how careless and dangerous. This kitchen is going to kill someone if it hasn’t already. The fries were cold and soggy. Everything about the meal was regrettable. Greed and an effort by the owner to expand has rendered the Kingston location completely wasted. The workers looked unhappy and exhausted, the customers were all having a terrible time. The car before us and after us both had mistakes in their order as well. When you decide to carry beef burgers in a previously vegetarian restaurant, you HALVE your griddle space in an already tight kitchen. When you allow online orders, you increase order volume by a large factor. Doing both simultaneously is so incredibly unwise and the reviews seem to be confirming it. Avoid if you value your time. Used to be amazing, and declined into something unsalvageable in a matter of months. So disappointing and quite frankly soul crushing. We used to look forward to this fast food since it was the only vegetarian fast food available. Now we will avoid it and actively recommend against it. Shame on the owner for stretching their workers thin, and shame on them for abandoning the customer community that made them big locally in the first place. Typical capitalist greed. really good burger joint 😋 can't get any better than moonburger
Used to be all vegetarian. Now that they sell meat I won’t be supporting them any longer.

Man, I loved Moonburger when it opened. It was totally worth the lines, and the employees were cool. But sadly this business decided to commit suicide. Whatever the staff are being asked to do, they can’t handle it. I just sat in the drive through line for more than 20 minutes with only one car in front of me waiting at the window. When that person finally got their order and I pulled up, the employee gestured to a bag by the cash register asking “this is hers, right?” I asked if she meant the one that had been sitting there for 20 minutes and she said it hadn’t (it had—it was in my line of sight the whole time). When I opened the bag and found the food cold, the employee asked in exasperation “well do you want us to redo it??” I gave up as this would have taken another half hour that I didn’t have. Apparently they started taking unlimited DoorDash orders, which has made the in-person drive-through basically unusable. It’s such a shame to see this promising place make one poor business decision after another—you’ll recall how they alienated their original customer base by suddenly adding meat to the menu. I was willing to keep going there, but this $14 lesson will sadly be my last.
