Mini catered my birthday party last week and did such a fantastic job. We were a group of about 15 mostly chef-and-food-related people and this was one of our best meals all weekend. The textures and flavors are all on-point and she gives you everything to make the dishes beautiful as well. I love the farmer's market stand and popups, but it was really special to get a catered meal — she's the first I'd go to if I have something like this again!

We met Mini and Marcus at the Basilica Farm and Flea this past weekend and got to try every item offered on their menu that day. I was delighted to discover that all of it was vegan, and even more delighted by the flavors and textures of each dish. Mini and Marcus are also so kind, and it is evident that they cook with love. I have them now saved as one of my go-to spots in the Kingston area and look forward to having their food again! ♥️

Wow! We just hired the Samosa Shack to cater a birthday party at home for 50 people. Mini Dhingra guided us toward the right menu for our group and then delivered the most delicious array of samosas, aloo tiki, naan and other yummy things to our doorstep. The food was a huge hit and we are very grateful. Highly recommend.

Pricey for just one samosa. Usually, you get two samosas in an order, and these are different: samosas are supposed to be puffy, but these taste unlike what I'm used to.

I’m always excited to see Samoa Shack at an event or farmers market. I recently had the samosa chaat and puffed rice salad at the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary 20th birthday bash and they were excellent. They have a brick and mortar location in Kingston where you can pickup so I don’t think they should be labeled a market vendor anymore here but they do still pop up at markets.
Mini and her team make fantastic Indian food - I tried a pakora special that came with lots of flavorful sauces, and a savory pastry with a creamy vegan cheese sauce. I do wish the heat was turned down a bit so I could taste more of the flavors, but all in all, the food is very fresh and delicious!
I have worked with Samosa Shack for catering many events and she is consistently reliable, timely, friendly, and the food is always 10/10 delicious. HIGHLY recommend!

Best Indian food around. The menu changes weekly & I've tried it all. There's not a single dish I can't rave about. Owner is super sweet. A true hidden gem off the beaten path inside Cornell Creative Art Center.

Run straight to the website and order immediately! We’ve been ordering Mini’s food for pick up or eating it from the Kingston farmers market for a year now, and it is truly the best thing around. Vegan Indian food from across India, my favorites are always her South Indian weeks but today’s holi special menu was one of the best things I’ve put in my mouth in a very long time lol! Delicious paneer feta dip, mushroom biryani jeweled with pomegranates and cashews, and spinach pakora that made me drool.
My first time eating Samosa Shack was rly good - The tofu samosa I had was delicious and crispy and made me want to come back. My other orders were less exciting and made me suspicious. In the potato samosa, it looked like there was some kind of unnatural blue flecks or something, and last time I checked there aren't blue veg. SUS!! It also tasted a bit like the oil wasn't very fresh, like it had been sitting out or something. I cook a lot at home and love 2 fry so it set off some alarm bells. Got a jar of green chutney as well and it ALSO HAD THE SUSPICIOUS BLUE! It had a kind of weird processed flavor as well, like there could have been a preservative added. Almost like a vanilla taste??? So yeah, appearances and first impressions were great but over time got very sus and noticed some red flags, at least for me Sucks because I'd love some real authentic indian food in kingston
