We went for the festival and all the vendors we had a blast. Food was a little expensive. So many vendors to choose from. The weather was great. On the waterfront, great weather, it was a great day!

Great food and great views. The service from our waitress Jill was top notch. The Brickyard burger was very good, as well as the Lobster roll. Definitely recommended

The views are spectacular, sat in the lounge area which was really comfortable as well. The bartender Matthew made excellent drinks and gave great service. The food was amazing, definitely recommend the clams casino pizza with shrimp

They need to improve the bar service. Our party of three order one mixed drink, a glass of wine and a liter of beer. The mixed drink came out first and after 15 minutes or more and two visits, one from the hostess and the other from the waitress the wine and beer finally came out. The beer order was wrong when it came, but the waitress fixed it at no charge. We really like this place, the staff is very nice, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. They just need to get a bartender who gives a crap about doing their job correctly.

This was my second visit to the river, Pavilion, and it was better than my first experience. The first time I went, I was impressed by the ambience and the views, but the food was mediocre. This time the food overall was much better I just ordered eggs, bacon, and grilled toast from the sides part of the menu and was very happy. My dining companions had burgers which they loved, and the other had avocado toast eggs Benedict which she declared was the best eggs Benedict she had had in a long time. Overall, on a beautiful Sunday morning, I couldn't imagine a nicer place to have a brunch.

You are paying out the nose for a view of the Hudson river. The same view you get for free from Kingston Point Beach. The food was delicious, especially the crab cake Benny, but over $20 for avocado toast. Wood fired pizza was good. The cocktails were meh. A Bellini with imperceptible peach and gunky raspberry purée stuck at the bottom. A dull Bloody Mary. Check your bill, they charged me for a hot coffee I never ordered. Service was what I would expect from a bad diner. Dirty plates stayed too long, waited for the bill too long. It was S L O W and waitress still couldn't keep up. Drinks were slow. Food was out fast though. I don't think I'll go back unless they really up their service and cocktail game to match the price point. At this cost everything should be impeccable.

The building is right on a beautiful part of the Hudson River. We had a table all the way out by the river. The food was terrific. It took a while to get water and a drink at first, but service got better as the evening wore on. It is not cheap, but we had a good time and would go back without hesitation.

The food was surprisingly good; an obvious shift from it's past incarnation of fine dining. The waitstaff was great though timing was a little off, which I attribute to the kitchen. But the bus staff (and maybe waitstaff as well) could use some retraining. We had to repeated ask for dirty dishes to be removed from the table.

Atmosphere and scenery are lovely.
Food and service were mediocre.

On arrival there was no indication of whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. It was the latter. We chose to sit at an outside table (not underneath the pavillion) which meant we had to place our food order at the bar and it would be delivered to us at our table. Sounds good on paper except:

1) bartender wasn't attentive and appeared not to be working efficiently or effectively. It's unclear what he was preoccupied with, but it wasn't serving customers. No sense of urgency. He saw us, we spoke to him, but he took his time getting to us. Difficult to tell if it's all due to systemic issues or just that bartender.

2) outside tables don't have numbers and you aren't given anything to mark your table for the server to find/identify you to bring you your food. A lot of us out there were entertained intermittently throughout the night by the sight of servers roaming around asking various tables "Did you order the meatballs?", "Did you order the pizza?" It was a scavenger hunt. Anyone could have claimed these dishes. Obviously not an efficient use of staff's time. That's a management/systemic issue

When our pizza eventually made its way to our table the server seemed pleased with himself. As he started to walk away after dropping off the pizza, we got his attention and asked him to bring us plates or napkins as we had nothing else on the table other than the pizza and our drinks. Friendly server, but seemed untrained.

As for the food itself - the pizza looked great, but was sadly lacking in taste. It just needed a little something - garlic, oregano, crushed pepper...something.

The drinks were fine, prices seemed reasonable. Among us we had 1 wine, 1 proseco, 1 beer.

We'd come back for the view and give it another chance. Worst case, a nice place to have drinks.

Outstanding service and beautiful atmosphere. For the prices the food was not worth it. We had a burger and lobster roll for main dishes and tomato and mozzarella for appetizer, all 5/10 at best. However, we will absolutely return from the service and beautiful atmosphere and this time try the pizza and salad.

This is a special place. The river pavilion is gorgeous with riverfront views and lovely gardens to walk around before or after your meal. The menu is on the lighter side, but everything we ate was very good. The crostini, crab cakes, steak frites, and peach cobbler were all well made but the main attraction is the experience and the view. My one critical point would be that there isn't enough light to walk back to the parking lot and the directions are difficult to follow after sunset. Highly recommend this spot.

Love the view and ability to sit in several areas. Cozy couches, bar, at high tops, regular dining tables, or by the water. Really nice relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's all on the ground level.
