Been getting sushi from Yasuda for years. Excellent in all regards. Quality, taste and service 10/10. We are fortunate enough to have great sushi in Kingston and this is one of the best spots to get it. I recommend getting the seaweed salad with every order. I frequent this restaurant almost weekly. I love the food. However today when our staff placed their order for delivery, I received a call stating that because I didn't leave a tip on the order, the delivery driver won't deliver our meals. I was asked if I "had cash to give them" and told if so they would come with our food. We, as a staff, had all intentions of giving a cash tip until we received this call and were beyond disgusted with their approach to service. It's a shame that they lost regular customers because of their entitlement.

Our family has gotten sushi from Yasuda at least a half dozen times in the past few months, and it's always consistently good. Unlike some other places that tuck a tiny sliver of fish in a big ball of rice, they don't skimp here. And the fish is fresh and high quality. Despite rampant inflation, they appear to be trying to hold costs down too, which is very much appreciated. This will continue to be our go-to spot for sushi.

The sushi here is fresh and amazingly good! The best sushi I have had in a long time. I have lived in many cities and this is as good as anything in Los Angeles for sure.

This is just a little hole-in-the-wall place, but the sushi here is pretty good. The fish is fresh and tasty, the portion sizes are decent, and the prices are reasonable. The service I had picking up my to-go order was also very good. My only complaint is that they don't put enough rice on the rolls. I shouldn't be able to see bare parts of the seaweed around the outside of the roll.

Food is absolutely amazing. Such a unique experience for sushi lovers. We order take out from here regularly and are never disappointed. The Sushi sandwich is a must try. The special rolls are so different and fresh. Best sushi around by far. Love it here.

My friend, who is a regular customer, had placed an order by phone. I went to pick it up and the place was empty. First, they couldn’t find the order. Then, they finally did and explained that it would be just a few minutes, in other words it was not ready. I explained that I was in a hurry because we were on our way to the airport. Half of the employees were having lunch and nobody was very interested in moving things along. I spoke to the owner who was only slightly apologetic and blamed technology. Long story short, after about 25 minutes, I finally left with the food. The food itself was fine but for that kind of mess up, I would have expected something more than a half hearted apology. No worries, we will not be back.
