They are telling the truth about their burgers. Definitely not small and very tasty. Also had fries with brown gravy, and the gravy was above par. Cute joint with the mom and pop atmosphere I love. You might dive past it and not give this place a thought, but you would be missing out.
Authenticity of this place cannot be replicated. It's simple, comfortable, charming and has the markings of being well used over the years. Had a great breakfast. It's been my go to when crossing the border over the years amd I hope to continue the tradition.
Take the time to enjoy the food here at the Flying Spatula. We have tried this place a couple times. The 3/4lb burgers are delicious. We tried the bacon cheeseburger with lettuce and mayo. The burger had crispy edge with a juicy bite. The bacon was small broken pieces in every bite. And the bun did not get soggy as it was lightly toasted. Added Fries, good flavor, but not as crispy as we prefer. Overall the meal was just right. Try the breakfast, lunch or dinner options here....
