Was a regular...until recently. We always have a larger group...usually 6+ adults...this last visit in March 2024 was horrible. First and foremost our server couldn't care less, rude and short with her assistance. When the food came out one person, who ordered the Jerk Chicken, had to wait another full 10 minutes for some reason AFTER everyone else received their food. Really? The food was at best "ok". The final straw was I reached out to the GM a few days later...left a very professional vm msg with my concerns....nothing. No reply. Apparently they just don't care. And now, neither do I.

We had a fantastic dinner at Curlys. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. All the dishes were prepared and served with such purpose. The portions were great too. We had crab cakes, beet salad, Curlys burger, black black bean soup, and scallops Balboa...all just super good. Wonderful restaurant there in Lackawanna!

Haven't been to Curly's in years, but it was one of my favorite restaurants. My oh my, have things gone to hell. I don't know why they are pretending to maintain the same food as the original owners (like the Chicken Ochie or the Conch Fritters) without caring about the preparation or quality. The sweet potatoes were a gluey mash. The pork chop stuffing was supposed to be walnut and mango, but it was a weird grey paste, and I'm sure it has never met a mango. The nicest thing I can say about the chutney on the Ochie is that it was ginger-forward. The Brocolini was good though. Everything else was, at best, sub-par. The conch fritters were bland and underwhelming. (Inexplicably, they also added a Thai Bowl to the menu. They can't even do the Caribbean cuisine justice, why take a stab in the dark at Thai?) The service was also poor. Our waitress was not friendly or personable in the least. On top of all that, it's very, very expensive. All of the seafood was insanely expensive. The sea bass was $53, which they claim was "market price". I doubt it. If you remember the Curly's of old, do yourself a favor and don't go back. Let it be a fond memory.

First time dining at this restaurant and wow . I was not expecting it to be this nice . I was definitely underdressed. I believe it is casual dress code but I would recommend maybe a button down and a nice pair of jeans . The service was A+ our waitresses name was Taylor and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and even gave us recommendations to try since it was our first time . Our food was also very good . You definitely have to try the black bean soup I definitely enjoyed that . This time around we chose to get appetizers. The banana peppers and calamari was delicious the shrimp was a hit I wish we got two orders . You have to definitely try the cheesecake ❤️We are looking to go back soon and try some main menu items

My wife and I had dinner on a Friday night here. The food was good; not great. Prices per item was excessive for the quality. Please read your bill before you pay! The waitress that no longer gets paid minimum wage and receives a 20 percent tip felt entitled to add an additional $2 to the bill as a tip for the cook. The amount of the tip does not concern me, it’s the arrogance and sense of entitlement applied to the bill. The owner should be ashamed of themselves for the practice. Curlys will never see me there again.

Food was OK but for the prices, I expected a little more. I had never been to Curlys before but always heard good things. We chose it because my son's girlfriend is gluten free. Yes, there were a lot of gf options on the menu but overall I expected a higher quality for the price. 8oz sirloin was $49 which was supposed to come with a salad. Never offered. Bread knots were OK with oil, no butter offered. Paid half that with a salad at Roadhouse and the quality was just as good. Ordered the steak medium rare but it was more rare. Appetizers were tasty but $15 for 5 Korean wings. That's $3 per wing. Drinks were awful. $11 for a glass of Chardonnay. Same for Tully and ginger but could barely taste any ginger ale. Switched to bourbon and coke but coke had no fizz and was so sweet, I couldn't drink it. Waitress was nice and took it off the bill. She was also attentive and I left a $46 tip on a $230 bill. However, putting the price and quality together, I can't say I'll be back anytime soon. Sorry to have to post this review.

What they say is jerk chicken is not jerk chicken. It was one of the worst pieces of what they called jerk chicken I ever had in my life. The food was terrible claims casino were terrible. I never heard of anybody putting Jalapeno peppers in clams casino and the crab cake was awful. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food was absolutely fantastic! Although the prices are high, you get what you pay for. We had date night here a few weeks ago and I would definitely recommend Curly's.

Love the atmosphere, service and the vegan options. Something for everyone here. They could update the wine list .. preferably include an unoaked Chardonnay and a good Chianti.

Just got in town, stopped there to use the bathroom. They said bathrooms are for customers only. I can't drink due to medical reasons, so I bought a customer a drink left a $5.00 tip (it cost me almost $10.00 to use their bathroom.) I was still treated like a second class person. For this reason I would never recommend this place. Very mean people there.

First and last time there. Waitress was terrible, food was overpriced and awful. Doused with Jamaican spice just poured on before serving. I could go on and on. Just skip it . Don't recommend anything
