This place is a dump, it's as if a horders mind vomited in the dining area. Dark, dirty, and filled with junk people rummage through while you try to eat. How does the dept. of health allow them to stay open. How does John and Mary's allow this place to display their brand.

I've been eating here for years and never had a bad meal don't listen to the bad reviews yes the place is kinda odd when you walk in your not there for good looks it's all about the food and its fantastic the price is great also you won't be disappointed go for it

The place is dirty.The workers don’t use gloves, at all.It took a very long time to get our food but it was only one person working the whole restaurant so I can’t blame them for that.It’s more like a antique store then a sub shop and there’s barely room to move around.Despite that…the food was actually not bad and given todays pricing was actually cheaper then the other John and Mary’s in Hamburg, $3 less expensive for a sub.

I drive by john and marys numerous times. I finally went in to try it out. Had a delicious meatball sub and fries. Their food is really good and inexpensive. Their prices are better then any other sub shop/restaurant i have been to in Buffalo. Their restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. Like the restaurant is step back into the good old days. The people are real nice there. I highly recommend it.

Awesome I live in Las Vegas nv the very first thing I do when I come to buffalo from the airport is go to John &Mary's on Abbott road and get a steak or sausage sub Gary and Maureen are great make me feel at home every time I come home. they Have been there 50 years my cousin David takes me there two or three times each visit ??????
I know it's somewhat odd inside the place, more like a museum than a sub shop, but man, the subs are great and always tasty. Been going there for 50 years and whenever I'm in town, I have to stop by at least twice. Mini salami with oil and the mini royal with oil. Great fries, too.

Had to go in and order because dude on the phone was pretending he couldn't hear me. This is not a restaurant. Gives you a d*** unwelcomed look when you go inside. Very weird owners to say the least. Make me scared to eat the food I ordered.

Worst cheeseburger I've ever had! The bread was like I was chewing gum that wouldn't go away no matter what! The burger and bacon if thats what you call it was tasting a shoe. Not a new shoe, BUT a very, very, and I must say VERY old shoe. Much worn by many!Do it go here if you want to live or eat!
