Went out for wifes birthday . Prior notes on this app stated it was her birthday . We weren't offered any dessert and the waitress rushed us .
As always Mulberry was amazing ! Baked Clams, stuffed mushrooms, Garlic bread with cheese and of course the meatball panes for apps were incredible. Chicken Violanti and Lasagna and wings as entrees never disappoint as usual.
Wonderful restaurant in a small neighborhood. If you love Italian, you will love Mulberry's! Great sauce, huge meat balls and all of your favorites, plus some very good specials. My husband had eggplant Parm, the best he has ever had. I tried the Stuffed Shells with Pork Ragu, which was delicious! Of course we started with Stuffed Artichokes, always a favorite. Our server Cindy was the best! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend Mulberry's to all my friends. Go and enjoy!
My wife had heard some rave reviews about Mulberry and had been wanting to try it for several weeks - so I brought her here for her birthday back on November 11, crossing the Peace Bridge from Canada to treat her on her special day.
We hadn't made reservations but were still seated promptly by friendly staff. The ambience was akin to fine dining in a pub-style atmosphere - quite charming, actually. It's a cozy place.
HOWEVER, my memories of this place will forever be tainted by food poisoning that I subsequently experienced - and for which I'm certain this meal was the cause (every other food item I had consumed in the previous three days was shared by my wife and son - neither of whom became sick). I had ordered a Mulberry Beef on Weck sandwich - which was piled sky high with succulent sliced beef. My mouth watered just looking at it. And it tasted great.
However, a few hours later I began to feel ill. Later that night, I was vomiting and had torrential diarrhea (sorry for the gory details) - it was worse than any sickness I had experienced since suffering a case of listeria poisoning several years ago. It took me three days to recover, with my body aching head-to-toe, pounding headaches, and constant fatigue (while waking to go to the bathroom every half hour - it ran like water!). For about 24 hours I was burping the taste of the Beef on Weck sandwich - something I'll never be able to face again, I'm afraid.
I did reach out to the management through their website to advise them of what had happened - in hopes that they would investigate to ensure removal of any contaminated food items (or utensils?) to avoid anyone else having to share this experience. This was done in a friendly manner with no threat of litigation. Yet, I did not even receive a simple acknowledgement from the management. That tells me all I need to know about this business. Loud and clear.
This is not the type of review that I wanted to leave for this restaurant. They seem to be held in high regard and this is probably a very isolated incident. I'm really not sure.
But it was my experience. And one I'll never forget, unfortunately. (My wife, who ordered a Chicken Parm dinner, enjoyed both the meal and her birthday, by the way!) :)

Wonderful dinner. Great service and staff. Super friendly. Serve a little too quickly. Would have liked more time to enjoy
We have been waiting for months to get in. We were seated in the back room that had a 10 top there. We were seated at the smallest table, even though 6 others were available the WHOLE time we dined. The table was by the back door, very, very cold. We were forgotten about several times, the server Allie was very attentive to the 10 top, but we waited 20 minutes to order our dinner after we had waited 10 minutes for our drinks from the bar, $9.50 for a martini, no blue cheese stuffed olives, only regular, and the additional upcharge of $5.50 for Kettle One Vodka, for a total of $15.00 each for an average martini. Shrimp appetizer was the best part of the meal. The veal parmesan was very, TOUGH, not tender at all and cold as was the lasagna. Plates were hot, but the food was cold. I asked for a steak knife and a pasta spoon (aren't we in an Italian restaurant??? why no spoon for linguine??) She forgot, so I got up and found her in the front room and asked again., and she delivered them. Very dissatisfied, total let down from what we were expecting. Too pricey for what we got $225 total for 2 of us. I would never go back. overpriced, overated. The highlight was the Holiday decorations hanging from the ceilings, but only in the front room, of course. Just a small tree next to us partly blocking the door we got sat next to. (I am sure the fire inspector would not like seeing that).
We haven’t been here in years. Was my wife’s choice for her Birthday dinner. Never disappoints! Outstanding meal and service……as well as amazing Christmas decorations. Thank you!

The Mulberry restaurant is excellent at every level - from food to service! Our server (Cyndi) was 5 stars!
Our annual trip from Long Island to Buffalo for a Bills game always includes Friday night at Mulberry. Never disappoints. Amazing food, service and prices. Would put this place up against any spot “downstate”. Thanks Mulberry Team!
Food was incredibly salty. We didn't like our food or cocktails. Menu changed Service was great! Staff was friendly and very accommodating
