I am super picky about Italian food and my opinion rarely reflects what everyone else considers good. I don’t usually go out for Italian in the area often because of this. I happened to come for my significant other’s birthday and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a bottle of wine, Spanish octopus, lasagna, braised short rib agnolotti and a cannoli. The octopus was amazing. We order it often when we see it on a menu elsewhere and we were kind of surprised it was offered here. The flavor/ spices were perfect and I haven’t seen a cook on octopus that well done in ages, anywhere. The short rib agnolotti was perfect. Delicious short rib flavor and mushrooms were blended for a delicious dish. There was almost like a gravy for sauce and I highly considered licking it off the plate. Now the lasagna, was a huge portion, which everyone here goes wild for, that is not my top criteria but to each their own. I was a little disappointed with it. It could have been cooked a little more to get the cheese bubbly and it wasn’t seasoned well. The red sauce was just ok. For a dish that probably sells out every night I would think they would have this down pat. The cannoli was amazing. Super crispy shell and delicious filling. The ambiance is what I’d call mom and pop chic in this local gem. They are known for home made pasta and serve a lot of American Italian traditional dishes along with some twists on the classics. Service was great and they are open Mondays which is a huge plus for this area.

A few months back we took out of town guests for a dinner at Mulberry’s. Our waitress was not pleasant in the least and actually made our evening quite unenjoyable - even though the food was delicious. It was not a good look for our guests as their first Buffalo experience. We were so disappointed with our service, we actually left and went for dessert elsewhere. It was with great trepidation I went back for lunch today with a friend. I am so happy to leave this review today after enjoying a delicious lunch with such a pleasant waitress, Linda! Linda was kind, personable, friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor. Our service was second to none and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Mulberry’s. If you ever think a waitress can’t make or break your dining experience, think again. Today was a great example of how customers would like to be treated. Thank you Linda!

Went at 5pm on a Saturday. Service was a bit slow, but not at all unreasonable. Good, cozy atmosphere without being cramped. Food was outstanding. Absolutely worth your time and dollars.

This place is a classic with excellent food and service. The food is fresh and portions are huge. Very busy and can be loud, but the quality of food definitely outweighs anything. Will be back.

Came to Buffalo for a shopping trip from Toronto and wanted authentic Italian food instead of Olive Garden. The staff here are so kind and the food and portion sizes are incredible. The Mulberry Gnocchi and the lasagna were both amazing!

The name of the restaurant reminded me of an old Dr. Seuss book, but I didn't see any parades, magicians, or long-bearded men there. The atmosphere was very nice, and I can't comment enough on how friendly our server was. The food portions appeared to be very large, but very tasty.I ordered the Meatball sandwich (minus the cheese because I weirdly don't like cheese, except on pizza and some other miscellaneous items I don't have time to go into), thinking I would get a sub with a number of meatballs on it. But oh no! I received a hamburger bun with one giant, and I mean GIANT, meatball sandwiched between the bread. It was grand! It was fresh! It was amazing! I also got a side of fries that ended up, to my surprise, being freshly cut. And like any good little Italian restaurant, they had freshly baked bread with yummy olive oil and pepper flakes to dip in. I wasn't able to check out the dessert menu this time around, but if I'm back again, I definitely will! I'd love to check this place out for dinner sometime on a future visit to the area. Good thing Google will remind me I ate here now next time I'm in town. Check this place out if you like Italian and you're near the Port of Buffalo! The prices seemed fair, and in the end, there is no need to make up any stories about this place!

My wife and I are regulars here despite living 2 hours away in Ontario. Always amazing, superior quality and great tasting meals! We had the giant shells stuffed with cheese and the rigatoni with pork, sausage and meatball pieces (special that didnt last long!). Our recommendations below are based on multiple visits. We look forward to our next visit.PS. Make sure you call ahead to make a reservation, otherwise you probably won't get in.
