Great food and service. Their chocolate pecan pie is out of the world, must try! They don't serve it every day!

I don't know what they are trying to do with the menu, and by the looks of it, neither do they. The main entries are a truly random assortment of dishes by someone who started with the idea of bar food but then they maybe met a hipster in passing once and as a result tried way too hard to make things "unique". Its not comfort food, and it's not specialty either. Its something that tries too hard in an odd direction and as a result falls short of both. The burgers and maybe the pizzas looked fine in a so simple its impossible to screw it up kind of way, but everything else on the menu needs a hard reset. The wait time may have been acceptable if I wasn't positive that the food they use comes pre packaged. As far as the bar goes, the beer and wine list is the type of thing that gets put together by people who think that Sam Adam's is a fancy brand. There was nothing on either of those menus that warranted a second look.

My 2nd time to the Mess Hall. Wow I didn't think it couldn't get any better. My wife's Steak was one of the very best steaks I have ever tasted wish I had ordered that. I ordered a shrimp scampi over angel hair with the most fantastic sauce I've ever had huge shrimp to die for excellent meal Susan the owner came over to greet us at the table what a fantastic place I highly recommend. Nice interior. Prices are a little costly. Turkey meatball stuffed with cranberties and stuffing was good. A lot of the food had different foods mixed together especially sandwiches.

Great place for food and drinks. They had a small draft selection but it was all good quality beer. The bar had tons of liquor and lots of wine. The portions were huge and the homemade french fries were delicious. They also have a kids menu. Did I mention the service was outstanding!

Cute little restaurant. I had the Greasy Garner, and it was delicious!!! I had enough for 2 meals! The service was good, and the decorations for the holiday was nice. Went for lunch and it wasn't extremely busy so it was a nice break from the day.

Just went for a light lunch and got the meatball mess I think it's called. My friend got "The Cleary" deli sandwich. It was delicious! Smoothest ricotta I've ever had. We'll definitely be back.

Service was a little slow but the food was excellent! I had the Mess Hall burger and fries. Fresh cut fries. Delicious. My sister had the Reuben. Corned beef was superb. Casual atmosphere, very good food. Two thumbs up!

Excellent service. Our server, Megan, was attentive, genuine and super nice! Food was delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. Only complaint was the very low lighting made it hard to see the menu and the bill.
