Had the salad bar and soup. All the lettuce was brown on the edges you could tell it was old. French onion soup was mediocre. The whole area and floor around the salad bar was an absolute mess. The restaurant did not look clean and well kept. The bathroom was a mess in the middle of the day. The bar room was empty, and the bartender and manager sat on the customer side of the bar, talking and on their phones. I’m very disappointed because I always like going to that restaurant when we’re in Lake George, not sure what’s going on there….new owners maybe?? but definitely not the experience I’ve had over the years such a shame.

After pursuing other restaurants that were crowded we landed here. A very good find. The salad bar is included. It’s okay, not extravagant but keep in mind it’s included. I had the hanger steak and baked potato. It was cooked very well and seasoned to perfection. A large potato with it added a great touch. Good service good food. That’s all I want and that’s what we received
Very loud and crowded They had two large parties and put my husband and I in the mist of all this. We also called at 11:30 am for reservations When we spoke to the manager who was rude to say the least asked us why we didn’t ask to be moved Well honestly we only saw our waitress to order and her helper brought our food out she was so busy with the party she never came back. Never asked how we were doing or if we needed anything The manager said that was very unusual for the waitress not to come back well ok What I wanted to happen after all this Maybe a understanding manager who apologized and offered for us to come back and have us sit somewhere else with no big parties and offered a free dessert instead he blamed us So let me recommend the George’s Restaurant

Went here for the first time on December 27th for my Birthday with my husband, and mom. Our food was absolutely amazing! But the service was exceptional! Our waiters name was Duffy he was very attentive, funny, and happy to have us there. I will be sure to request him every time I go. Thank you Duffy for making my birthday memorable, and one of the best ones I had in a while. You truly are amazing.

Went last night with family .The restaurant was decorated nicely our waitress was attentive and friendly.
I ordered a chiefs special chicken Camelot. It sounded delicious but boy was i disappointed. My first bite and it was spicy peppery tasting. I tried another bite and totally couldn't eat it. Not anywhere on the menu does it say spicy. I was brought a menu to order something else but by then everyone was halfway through the meal. I ordered something simple crab cakes .They came out burnt and my potatoes were luke warm . The rest of the party enjoyed their meals . This is not my first visit here that I have been disappointed in the quality of the food for the price.

Ordered the king crab legs, market price,which is fine. $130 for the entree w/ rice, the order came with 2 “legs” and knuckles that were cold and the smallest cup they have full of cold butter,and no garlic.
