Was told Chowder was made from scratch, it was pretty bad, no way it was home made. Will not be going back. Plus the bill was $91.00 for 4 people, 4 cups of bad chowder and 2 turkey clubs plus soda.

We stopped in here for lunch Wedneday 27 September. The parking attendants over at the Lake George Stemship Company warned us that we would be paying for the view of Lake George. To be quite honest, there wasn't much of a premium. We enjoyed the Fish and Chips and the portions were so large that we couldn't finish the fries [chips.] The service was excellent. This is an open air venue one story above street level. They are able to close it in with transparent roll up shades and heat it with propane towers, noeither of which were needed on the date we visited.

Food was ok, service was good. Not happy about the fact they have no public restrooms which I believe are required by NY state

Pros: The view. Relatively quick service. Food tasted good. Room for improvement: line cooks need to learn how to check the doneness of a burger. No tea or coffee products even though they are in the menu? Not everyone likes Pepsi products guys.

The Lookout Cafe is pretty good food with decent prices. The fish and chips were probably my favorite. The scenery is beautiful with the Lake George in the backdrop.

First time here and this place is amazing! Food is great and service is great. The view from the outdoor restaurant is the best! Just be aware they open at noon. The sign on the steps up has 11:30.

We had dinner with our son and two grandsons. Three of us got the lobster boat sandwich served cold. I asked for a side of warm butter to drizzle over it. I was told they had no better on premises. REALLY! The fry’s were warm to cool at best. My grandson’s hamburger was ok but over cooked. The drinks were good and the view of the lake was great.

Food was great, service was impeccable and the view breathtaking! We came in half an hour before close and didn't feel rushed or unwelcome in any way, which was nice!
