My family wanted Indian food on our last night in Lake George . The food is extremely overpriced for tiny portions of food . The owners were very “ nose up in the air” type of people . The restaurant itself looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years . The owner’s daughter was making prices up so you need to pay close attention to your bill . Hospitality was lacking . Great place didn't get to check it out the last time I was hear a month ago but def checked it out this time didn't eat but got drinks and did the hookah and out was great I would definitely recommend this place and the service was GREAT and the girl up front was VERY friendly and funny definitely will go back my next visit here!!!!!!

Taste of India is a clean restaurant with an awesome and very good ambiance. Guests are greeted and attended to quite quickly, even when busy. The staff is attentive, helpful, and very nice, offering good suggestions.
The food is consistently described as delicious, fresh, full of flavor, tasty, and on point. Popular appetizers include the samosa chat, pani puri, Indian medley, samosa, and pakora, all noted as really good and awesome. For main courses, the goat curry, shahi paneer, palak paneer, chicken curry, chana masala, chicken makhni, aloo gobi, malai kofta, aloo mattar, chicken tika kabab, goat biryani, and chicken biryani are all highlighted as exceptional, bursting with rich flavors, and solidly good. The Taste of India shot, pure Punjabi, sex on the beach, and the fabulous mango lassi drink are recommended beverages.
The experience is often a delight, making it a definite 5-star gem that many would totally and highly recommend.
