Coffee wasn’t that great. & they hardly had anything on their menu. The girl at the counter was really sweet.
Its a nice change up from Starbucks and I love the milk selections they have

I came in for a few groceries. There is a great selection. I was very pleased with the service here. There's even a nice selection of sushi supplies!
I stopped in to get seltzer and beer. There's a great beer selection inside. I picked up Troegs Troenator Double Bock, very good. Honestly, I prefer shopping in the Commack location. It has a better layout selection.
You know what you’re getting when you shop at Whole Foods.. A huge selection of wonderful health food products, great fresh organic produce, healthy prepared foods (including pizza, sushi and a huge salad bar).... But all of these come with a HUGE price tag.. That’s just the reality of shopping here.. Their acquisition by Amazon/Bezos hasn’t dropped the prices either.. If you are savvy and pay close attention to their prices you can really do well by shopping here.. You’ll occasionally find sale or discounted items that offer great savings, and if you’re an Amazon Prime member you can save a percentage on your entire purchase. But ultimately there are certain things that you can buy here that you just won’t find anywhere else.. For our family it’s definitely worth the effort and the trip.. Although we always combine our shopping trips here with a stop (first!) at Trader Joe’s across the street.. Its helpful to check their selection and prices first, and pay a little more at Whole Foods for the few items that you can only find here.. Besides the high prices, shopping at the Lake Grove Whole Foods location is a great way to support and supplement a healthy diet and lifestyle of you live on the East End of Long Island..
This store is off my list, I will stick to the Commack store as it is more pleasant to shop in. Ever since Whole Foods started with personal shoppers, Smithaven has become so annoying. They block the bathroom entrance with their carts and zoom through the aisles like no one else is in the store. This issue is non existant in Commack. Also, I wanted whitefish salad and none was on the shelf. I asked an employee if they had any in the back and they didn't even check, instead just told me whatever is out there is all they have. I know this stuff comes in a big jar and then is placed in small containers. This happened once before and I got lucky with an employee who actually cared and instead of being lazy got me what I wanted. Oh, there is more. My wife and I were at the deli counter and were ignored as if we didn't exist. This happened three times after going back three times between shopping. I dont know why this store has gone downhill because it used to be a pleasure to shop there. I suggest checking out Commack where the people are nicer and the selections are far greater. For me, Smithaven doesn't exist.

Whole Foods is a mecca for all natural and organic foods. The staff provides world class service - I asked for pomegranate seeds and the gentleman walked me to them. Everything was immaculately clean. I need to come back and have lunch here one day. The ready to eat food looks insanely delicious.
My 86 year old mother had her purse stolen right from her cart in broad daylight by an unknown assailant a few weeks ago from this store. She told management, but they said there was nothing they could do and they didn't even bother to look at the store's video. Obviously they don't care much about their customers here. They just care about making money. Just beware if you shop here, that there are pick pockets that pray on old ladies and a management that just ignores it.
Solid coffee, great service and lots of really tasty treats!
I just recently moved back to Lake Grove from Vermont. Yesterday I decided to stop by the “Whole Foods Market” nearby the Smithaven Mall. As soon as I walked in I seen “Prime Member Signs” marked on a whole variety of fruits, vegetables, cereals, etc. including organic foods. I immediately signed up with Amazon and became a “Prime Member” which includes “Whole Foods Market” and a whole host of other benefits and perks. Well to make a long story short, “Whole Foods Market” is no doubt the Supermarket of choice for me. Besides the “Prime Member Discounts”, this is the best Supermarket for organic foods, prepared foods and dinners for “on the go.” Now yesterday I was only browsing around and I needed only a few items. My subtotal including taxes was $28.04. I ended up paying only $21.89. And so as a “Prime Member, I saved $7.06 As an example, My incredible savings was on Kashi cereal. 2 boxes for $4 Normally it sells for $3.69 for 1 box. Now that’s what I call a super savings! Be healthy and buy organic! “Whole Foods Market” is the Supermarket to be! ***You can easily find what you see in the photos, many organic, at the “Whole Foods Market” ***The Photos are Independent online photos for informational purposes only; not an endorsement. I am seriously hooked on the corn muffins here in the bakery. Baked goods at this location are fresher than the Manhasset location.
