I had such a wonderful experience here!!The only reason why I came here was to try the viral Brown Butter Latte as seen on Tiktok and it did not disappoint! The young girl behind the counter (I forgot her name) was so so helpful! She rang my stuff up in addition to the coffee. She even pulled up the QR code for me on Amazon because you get a discount if you have an Amazon Prime account and mine wasn't working at the time. The atmosphere was really nice and had such a clean environment. (P.S. the Commack WFM Coffee Bar does not ever seem to be open when I go so I had to make the trip up to Lake Grove). Not sure why this is.....but glad I had such a great experience at Lake Grove location!

I went to Whole Foods today to get a few essential things. It's a weird time in the world right now, the other customers were uneasy and it was obvious. What I found most comforting was the staff at this supermarket. They were smiling, helping all of the panicked customers, they were calm. I ended up dropping a jar of salsa and I felt terrible because it's just another thing to add to the craziness. A girl at customer service and a girl in the beauty department both came over, assured me not to worry about it, cleaned it up instantly and then got me a new jar without me even asking. I know this sounds like something simple, but it was really nice to see friendly people in a time like this. Especially from people who are working and risking their health so I can buy food and be home with my family.
My husband and I travel from Bay Shore to shop at the Whole Foods Lake Grove supermarket. The staff at Lake Grove is wonderful! Always eager to help and answer questions. They work very hard, keeping the supermarket well stocked, clean and tidy. The prices are very good and the deals are great! If you are an Amazon prime member you also add up points which convert to dollars. That not only helps with your grocery tab but also with your shopping on Amazon. The past several weeks have been trying, however, as far as we are concerned, they are still doing their BEST to provide their customers with most of their grocery needs and services. Keep up the good work Lake Grove!

I stopped in to get seltzer and beer. There's a great beer selection inside. I picked up Troegs Troenator Double Bock, very good. Honestly, I prefer shopping in the Commack location. It has a better layout selection.

There is no doubt that Lake Grove Whole Foods is not the same since Amazon took over. According to an employee, the distributor has changed. Now there are bare shelves in spots and empty bins in the bulk area. This never happened before Amazon. It is more than frustrating to travel a far distance to Lake Grove and they are out of farro. Yes, it is a grain, I don't think the employee knew what I was looking for. And speaking of employees, the Whole Foods employees used to be the most helpful and pleasant people, now I have a young woman arguing with me because when she tells me to call Whole Foods to complain I inform her that resulted in me speaking with a kid in the Phillipines who repeatedly apologized and did nothing to resolve my complaint. She denied my expecience informing me that the call line is answered by a man name Pat, somewhere upstate. Maybe he moved to the Phillipines. The ingredients of all your favorite foods have changed. More artificial ingredients and additives. The selection in general is greatly reduced. There are so many personal shoppers there, unfamiliar with the stock, that they are forever blocking everybody else who just wants to grab their saurakraut and move on. They are so busy looking at their phones for guidance that they are clueless about those surrounding them. Step to the side, people, while you are lost and searching, I know the territory because I am a shopper who is an actual Whole Foods customer. Not for long though. If the grocery stores get wind of this it could be a windfall for them it they make a few changes in stock. Already, Costco is catching on. Today, in Costco, I saw organic almond milk, hemp seeds, pistacchio nuts and a really excellent paleo bar. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised.

I always liked Whole Foods. They have a large selection of produce. You can always find something exotic(we found jackfruit). I hope to one day see durian fruit although I heard it tastes like funchos. The store is always clean. I have not bought any seafood from there yet only because I like mines fresh not previously frozen which I get from a local store.

Ok so I was a mildly upset that I had to pee and the bathrooms had no toilet paper. I went to get some hot food and was a bit annoyed there were no plastic utensils to eat the food with. Whatever, I have some in my car. What really got me angry enough to come on yelp to write a negative review is there was a bone in my turkey that I almost choked on. I made a turkey sandwich and felt the bone in my mouth and luckily was able to spit it out but I could have died. Never going back to this whole dump.
