The pound cake was stale. The orange juice had a chemical taste. Just a disappointment. Go elsewhere

Went for breakfast there last week with my husband . Had bacon, eggs and hash browns. we both got violently sick an hr later. Cleaned our insides out; couldn't leave the house. Almost like a bacterial stomach upset.I don't know what was bad. The bacon? Eggs left out too long? We were feeling the effects for 5 days.. Horrible.
Won't be going back.

I was so happy we decided to have breakfast at the Lake Grove Diner. The interior looked newly and tastefully remodeled. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the door.
The menus were new, clean and not sticky-lol. We ordered the Nova Scotia Eggs Benedict with a generous portion of salmon, the Texas Omelet, with skirt steak and the Belgian Waffle with 2 scoops of ice cream. Each was delicious and perfectly cooked. The home fries were the best I have had in a long time-tasty and not overly seasoned.
The prices may be a little higher than some diners, but it was worth it. The meals were made with quality ingredients and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

Great food & service, very clean, so clean the staff disturbs your dinning experience to clean, don't sit near kitchen or you won't here the end of plates clashing. Great food though

Diner has an excellent menu and fast service. Baked goods are fresh and good quality. Atmosphere is clean and cool but standard fair for diners.

Super attentive staff, great food, reasonable prices, and a huge menu. I’ve taken all of my friends and family that have visited me on Long Island to this diner and they all talk about how good it was! (I also highly recommend the orange juice if u go for brunch since it is squeezed fresh)

Expensive. But then again, what isn't. I got this older lady that served me.. she didn't have the best personality and wasn't great. The food amount of large. I got chicken parmesan with spaghetti and it was an amount for 2!
A little overpriced for sure but it's worth it I guess. Need better waitress
