Waitress had to be new. Not only couldn't she answer questions, but after half my sandwich I said the other table got cole slaw & pickles, so she apologized & brought me some. It didn't look like that much meat on the sandwich for the price requested. Food was delightful, & staff was nice.

This is where I go for my pastrami sandwich fix. Nothing better!! Their menu has gotten tremendously smaller. But you want comfort food go here! Great pickles too!!

Incompetent management/owner… they have a buy 1 get 1 fri/sat. Cash only. I did not have cash or atm card on me. I offered to pay even more than actual credit card processing fee to get b1g1. Management was unable/unwilling to work with me. Walked out. I expect better from small

Came here for dinner the other night and it was great. The matzah ball soup was amazing!! The brisket sandwich was huge and had me stuffed!

Excellent food and good service. The matzoh ball soup was unique and made from scratch. The omelette was good as well

It was until I called the store and the owner was picking up the phone several times Thursday night lying saying she was in the bathroom but then quickly answered after I demanded to speak to her I think pat is likes to take advantage of poor cashier girls Thursday night and Sunday morning and that's why got raise and still works there off the books like all the illegal immigrants there

They guy behind the food counter was really nice and friendly and helpful when it came to showing and explaining everything they had , because It was my first time there, or at any kosher store. We ended up getting a spinach knish that was huge and taste good! They have baked and fried knish .Vegetarian options: Ordered the spinach knish because my girlfriend is vegetarian. They have a lot more meat dishes.

The meat in the stuffed cabbage was severely undercooked. When brought up with the wait staff, they said it was red due to the seasoning they used. However, the texture of the ground beef indicated it was raw. The potato pancakes were greasy and bland. Onion rings were a disaster. They arrived in one unseasoned clump with the breading falling off. The deli sandwiches were fine, so if you go there, you are better off ordering something they don't have to cook. Also, it is relatively overpriced.

Was just at Zans to takeout. I ordered a roast beef on club and my wife had a noodle soup. Id say Chicken Noodle Soup as thats what i ordered and paid for but there was not one piece of chicken in the soup. 7.50 for a bowl of chicken stock with noodles. We use to go often here but the prices have gone way too high. My roast beef sandwich was almost $20Really a shame that at these prices they don't keep up on the quality

Service was fine. Ambience was fine. The Pastrami was slimy. I have never had slimy pastrami. I have had much better supermarket pastrami. Disappointed.

It pains me to write this but as of yesterday the food was terrible and inedible, we picked up a to go that included fried chicken that was blackened inside and petrified. We have gone here for years and the last two to go orders sucked except the chicken in the pot the wife loves that!
