Even though due to our own personal circumstances we do not get out for dinner; We are familiar with the restaurant and saw the endearing article the local Kingston Freeman had on Reginato's Ristorante. How could one not want to try it if they haven't or keep it as their go to place to relax with a dinner that's been tried and true for all the years this family has stayed in the area. Congrats to the family.

Last time I went I had a creepy server named Nick who wasn’t welcoming and was really awkward and uncomfortable. He brought out the wrong order and then brought the ice cream out in a visibly dirty glass. David, who had been my server the time I had a good experience, was nice enough to give me a new glass because Nick barely tended to me; never asked how the food was nor how I was doing. The first two times were great but after this last experience I won’t be back.

Food is good as well as the service. The parking area is not well signaled.
We ordered the Eggplant Parm and Manicotti. Both dishes were pretty good, but the eggplant has some sort of cream sauce in between the slices that I wasn't crazy about. Did not like the Minestronile Soup. Was like chicken broth with veggies. No beans. No pasta. Not much taste. The cheese they sprinkle on your pasta is Parmigiano. We much prefer romano. But the most disappointing was the bread they brought to the table. Not Italian in the least. A very dense and dry white bread, barely warm, cold on the inside. And the bread is SO important at an Italian meal. For dessert we had Creme Brule which was delicious. The Tiramasu not very good. More like a Tiramasu cake. A little dry.

I have been coming here for decades and the food is always so delicious. My fave is fish almondine and spaghetti with Bolognese. Nothing can compare to those dishes here!!! Early bird special is a great deal with multiple courses. Just make sure you have plenty of time to spend!

I’ve always heard great things about Reginato. I had the sole (looking for a lighter meal) and it was just okay. The side of potatoes, broccoli, and carrots was fresh and cooked a perfect al dente, however. Next time I’ll go for a traditional Italian dish.

Went in on Saturday the chicken francese was great the environment is pleasant, and my server with long curly hair was attentive and extremely friendly
