Joselo was our server the other day and I have to say WOW! I rarely leave reviews but this guy really went the extra mile. He recommended the pancakes and they came out hot and fluffy extremely fast. I never once saw the bottom of my coffee cup. He was very polite and sweet and funny. 10/10 I will go back just to see Joselo again what a nice guy!

Positively THE worst experience ever. None of our usual breakfast places were open, so we tried this place. Huge mistake. The coffee was terrible and overpriced. The food was terrible--corned beef hash seemed to be a Mexican fiesta of large, cubed ore ida potatoes, minced barely cooked onions and peppers, and the chunks of "corned beef". I ate very littleOf my breakfast--which didn't seem to trouble the server. Never once were we asked how it was, or if there was a problem with the food. We just wanted to pay and get out asap, so didn't look at the bill closely. Our mistake. Turns out they added the gratuity to the bill. I didn't look closely and so added my own gratuity. My error, but since when do places tack on their own gratuity for a party of TWO people?

We stopped in to give their breakfast a try. A smaller menu with options that cover the gamut. They have a selection of seasonal cocktails in addition to non alcoholic breakfast drinks.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast. It was not very busy. They were out of a few items and we settled on breakfast sandwiches, bagel with bacon , egg and cheese. It took forever to be served. We also ordered coffee (4.00 a cup). The bill came. It was 40.64. Outrageous for what we ate. In addition they automatically added a 20% gratuity. First and last time for us!!!

The berry mascarpone French toast was amazing! I had steak and eggs and everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were delicious! Our server was extremely pleasant and all of the staff seemed to be helpful to one another... I'll definitely be back on my next trip to LP!

Stopped by this morning for lunch. Was seated promptly, no issues, place was pretty full. We ended up waiting about 45 MINUTES for our food to come out after ordering. We had gotten the Eggs Benedict, the Corned Hash, and a Mexican Omelette. The long wait delayed my plans for the day. If I had been given a heads up, I would have picked another location for lunch. On top of that, a 20% tip was already pre-added to my receipt. I always tip at least 18% when I eat out, but I think the service I received was only average. I don’t appreciate they’ve taken this option away from me.

What a great new place ! My family and I have been coming to LP for over 25 years. We have seen restaurants come and go. With servers like Eduardo, and the delicious fresh food I can see this place lasting a long time! Environment is clean, and the bathroom is immaculate! Floors, tables etc. all gleaming! Thank you! Like most places that are shortstaffed Eduardo worked very very hard to meet everybody’s needs!

We had breakfast here before going hiking. Great service, super nice people. Bloody Mary was good, though we didn’t try the crazy house version. My breakfast burrito was great, perfect mix of ingredients and proportions and nicely done home fried potatoes. Everything came out quick and efficient. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Went yesterday to have a breakfast, it's nice cozy restaurant on main Street. They have also bar , and bar stool table next to main street facing window. Nice view. We ordered Mexican omelet, lobster omelet and build our own omelet. Everything was fine. It's delicious. Bloody Mary was not wow, but good. Service was little slow.

Given the high ratings of this restaurant for breakfast I attended to give it a try. Clean place, great menu, however, the food is lacklustre. Asked for 2 eggs poached medium, this picture was the second round of eggs as the first was equally as bad. Waiter asked if I wanted to finish this before taking it away…pretty bad to think he thought this was acceptable. None the less, not a big deal, until I got the bill. They add a 20% gratuity onto the bill prior to giving it to the customer. This breakfast cost just over 14 dollars each. Two breakfasts, 2 coffees cost 44 dollars, with their added gratuity the total was 52 dollars.Highly recommend avoiding this place. Any server who saw this, I think, would have tried to rectify this issue instead of the way it was handled. I don’t agree with the pre-added gratuity already added, especially when the service is this poor.Will not be going back.

Best spot for lunch !! Great American menu ,I ordered a burger with bacon, cheese and fried egg and it was delicious!! Came back the next morning for breakfast and we had a great breakfast as well ! And don’t forget bottomless mimosas ! My kiddos loved their milkshakes with their burgers too !!

Great solid breakfast! My workers and came here for breakfast and lunch often and always a great service and solid food, my corned beef skillet was great and the steak breakfast even better

If you’re looking for a quaint American fast food experience with great service (Eduardo ??) in lake placid then look no further.Bison burger and Turkey burgers + onion rings are a worthy recommendation. And if you’re seeking a little more gluttony catch yourself a $10 French 75

I was originally concerned about coming to this place because of some of the bad reviews, but me and my lady gave it a try. Prices were pretty high, it’s a tourist spot so I get it, whatever. Food was sub-par/small servings, didn’t feel to great after the chicken and waffles. I refused the added gratuity, doesn’t make too much sense as to why they put it on there without asking. Server was nice/only person to talk to us and I tried to make sure that the tip went to her but the other workers were giving funny looks. Would definitely recommend trying a different breakfast spot, TheBreakfastClub across the street is definitely a better choice if possible, only spent an extra $10 there and the food/service was way better!!!
