well i was up here on vacation/work for the week, out of every place i went this is by far the best place in the whole town, by far the cheapest place to drink and the best service i had in the whole town, props to lisa and nichole they are literally grade a ? ? i will definitely come back here.

Best prices around. Jeopardy on the tele on weekdays. Jukebox. Pickled eggs and pickled sausage. Old school dartboard. Pull tabs if you're feeling lucky. Wonderful staff that treats you like family. Occasionally a band or karaoke. Ms. Pat is the best bartender in town. Kitchen available to rent for fundraisers, celebrations of life, any other type of gathering. Probably the only place I'll miss in this increasingly stuffy town now that Bowlwinkles and Aki Sushi are closed.
Nice bartender and atmosphere
The cons- building is a bit dark and dingy inside. With all the people that visit having trades, I'm sure the Legion could get some volunteer work, toward improvements. On a positive note, the beer is really affordable, compared to bars throughout the Lake placid village. The people behind the bar are really friendly, and fun to chat with. Happy hour seems to draw the larger crowd, and more good conversation. If you are looking for good company, and reasonable pre-game on a bar hop, it's worth it.
