Legit pastry bakery.

Appreciate that they have gluten free options, wish there was more dairy free! Tiny spot, but cute.

We have been coming to lake placid every year for as long as we can remember and we’ve never tried this bakery before surprisingly. We got coffee and some pastries. The latte we got was pretty good! Nothing special but good. The coffee was a little bit bitter for our liking. They also had a very wide selection of pastries. All the pastries we got were very good. Our favorite out of all of the ones that we got was the blueberry crumb bar. We also got the apple cinnamon roll and the chocolate and almond roll. Both were very good. When we got there the line was out the door (mostly because the shop is very small) but it moved quickly. The service was good. Overall a very cute place to get some coffee and pastries. It’s also right across from mirror lake so you are able to eat the delicious coffee and pastries there with an incredible view.

Got a scone. It was so dry. It crumbled into pieces when I tried breaking a piece off. Could barely eat it.

Have you heard of the little engine that could? This is the tiny but mighty bakery. I've been visiting Lake Placid for years, but only discovered this bakery this year, mostly by following its patrons who were perambulating around the Main Street what looked like amazing little scones.

Speaking of said scones, they're fantastic. If you're expecting biscuit-line scones, these might be a bit of a disappointment. These are on the bread-ier side of the pastry spectrum, but no less satisfying. We tried the blueberry almond scone and the raspberry white chocolate, and both were scarfed down within minutes. I also love that these aren't sickly sweet. Paired with a latte (for which I highly, highly recommend getting a pump of the hazelnut syrup), Bluesberry Bakery was responsible for supplying some of the best breakfasts we had during our stay in Lake Placid.

City folks ought to temper their expectations. This is a small town bakery on a quaint main street, and inside, space is tight. There isn't any seating space, and if two or more groups of customers come in simultaneously, the rest of the queue has to wait outside the door. But things behind the counter are manned by a small, dedicated crew of folks who keep things moving.

As with any bakery that makes things fresh, come as soon as the urges hit; when they're out, they're out. I learned this the hard way when I came late afternoon for a scone and found they were sold out.

Went bright & early so there wasn’t a wait. Pastries were fresh and smelled incredible! It’s a small operation so be patient because their coffee and bites are delicious!

Had great service and some really lovely desserts. It's near a lakefront park too, which made for a great place to enjoy the treats.

By far the best bakery in Lake Placid or anywhere near by. Not a single item has not been amazing.

Cannot recommend the oat latte (drive to Capisce coffee instead) -- the scone was good but the tiny store was crowded and hard to manage the tight quarters.

We were so happy to come across Bluesberry Bakery while in the area! We really enjoyed both the hot and iced coffees and also the blueberry scones and maple pecan rolls. Delicious!

Great scones and croissants. Nice people behind the counter. Kinda cramped inside, but we always stop in when we're in town.
