I don’t know how they did it, but Vlad and Eugene seem to have made a good thing even better. Same great food, family atmosphere and reasonable prices but with a fresh twist and new energy. Well done. We’ll be back soon.
We ate there two nights in a row, the food and service were excellent. We had surf & turf, veal gruyere and veal schnitzel, also some appetizers. All great with reasonable prices and the entree comes with soup, salad, and a side. We’ll definitely be back.
We ate here, did not stay. Dinner was excellent! Better food and better pricing than what we found downtown Lake Placid. And only about a 10 minute drive from downtown. Mountain views too. Service was great, our waitress was hilarious and friendly. My husband ordered the Saturday special all you can eat prime rib and loved every second. Entrees came with bread, soup, and salad. All delicious. We left full and happy!
I came for dinner (at the restaurant) and this place is as genuine, friendly and delicious as you would want an authentic dinner experience to be. Service was warm & attentive. A place were locals meet and visitors feel at home
Great food and staff and affordable. They have a real fireplace and we were lucky to have a table by the fireplace.
All of lake placid booked on a Saturday night. Took a chance on this place 4 miles from downtown right near ski jumps. $80 a night here vs 400-1000 downtown. Us restaurant and bar. Who cares about the cabin like room.

This place is truly amazing, the food is out of this world and the staff so welcoming. We stayed in a room for the golf package weekend and I can say it was peaceful. I want to give a huge shout ot to Ms. Laura she is such a beautiful person and top notch all the way around. She did such an amazing job keeping our rooms up and just made us feel so special. Thank you can't wait to go back.
Nice jump-off point if hiking from the LOJ. Spend the night & get an early start.
The motel is really vintage and old fashioned. Basic amenities. US$80/night. (their website says $70...)
It's hard to find this kind of price in Lake Placid. I slept well. It was calm and cool. The forest is not very far.
Ample parking. Restaurant adjacent to the motel which offers an interesting menu.
10 minutes drive from the bustling village of Lake Placid.

This place is right out of the past. I love it. I have stayed here a couple times and the last 2 nights was one of them. Admittedly, it was a little chilly when we got to our room (somewhat late) and the place is a little dated but it is so clean and the people are so kind AND the restaurant is Amazing! The price point is unbeatable!Stay where you feel home❤️
