Just conveniently over the border and in Lake Placid, but without the mess of all the touristy downtown stuff when you need to be away from all the hockey, whiteface and maple syrup! Everyone was great and rooms were nice. We had a suite and it was larger than we expected with a good separation from the "living area" to the room. The pool was great and the little one enjoyed it very much. Lobby was nice and big, and the breakfast was good.
Saw some less than favorable reviews online but still wanted to find out first hand by staying there. Thought everything was fine. Hotel, room and pool area all very clean. Room was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant. A very short ride to the downtown area. Would return when in the area.
