This is a classic small-town Chinese restaurant, owned and run by a hardworking Chinese family for years. The menu has expanded to Japanese and hibachi; we typically share Chinese dishes like crispy sesame chicken, beef with broccoli and low mein, all with generous portions and nicely prepared and presented by people who feel like our family. You don’t come to a restaurant here expecting New York Chinatown, this one has the 1932 Olympic oval right across the street and is perfect for a bite after skating on a frosty night. Highly recommend.

Came there for a weekday dinner and the wait was not long but the customer service and food was alright. Once we got to the table the food and drinks were awful. The sodas tasted like chemicals and the sake tasted like vinegar. The price was not worth it and we took a few things for take out but the next day the food went spoiled. It even gave one of my friend a stomach bug and they definitely ripped off my friend sushi deluxe which looks horrific. The portion of the food were sickening and the way they plate it looks like trash. Next time, I'm not going to order from this place AGAIN and I DO NOT recommend the food here. Honestly, China City food was much better than this place.

Been multiple times usually pretty good food and nice to have a sit down Japanese Chinese restaurant as opposed to your typical Chinese takeout. However went with my wife 2 days ago and we both got food poisoning, needless to say will not be going back.
It’s hardly could be called sushi. More like a worn out chinese take out place. The bathrooms are scary. The food is not good either.
My sushi and edamame were good. No issues
Would leave zero stars if I could. Not worth wasting your money, time, or calories. The food is mediocre at best, and the owner/manager is extremely rude and can't be bothered to be helpful or listen to the customer. When the food came my dish was not what I ordered. I tried to send it back and order something else instead, and when the bill came I was charged for both even though the first dish wasn't correct. When I brought this to the managers attention she got really mad and threatened to call the police if I didn't pay for "the food I ate", when I hadn't touched the first plate. DON'T GO HERE!! Aki Sushi, diagonally across the street is a much nicer/cleaner ambiance, the sushi is way better and above all the staff/ manager is polite and makes the customer feel paid attention to!!
Food poisoning...was definitely not a good first impression... ???

Overpriced, need to work on customer service, food wasn't fresh.I may never pay so much for a meal and eat so little of it again. We ordered a few different items and all of it didn't taste fresh and the chicken was not a good cut. To the point where I had to spit half it it back out.If a customer says the sushi tastes off or even if a customer just didn't like their meal to the point where they took only one bite, maybe it's best not to tell them 'you're wrong' and not offer any sort of attempt to make it right. As someone who works with clients in a field that involves good rapport, I can sincerely say that this is not the best option especially when you're serving people food. And further so when you're serving people food who are typically on a vacation or get away. We didn't let it ruin our trip but I can see how a bad, very expensive meal can really wreck a family's night.I don't like leaving bad one star reviews. When I spoke to them bringing our issues with our meal to their attention there was no attempt to make it better. At all.In short why risk the crazy prices when you could just have an amazing great priced meal up the way at The Picked Pig? ?
I've been here several times when I come to LP. Tried to order takeout and was yelled at by the receptionist. Definitely need to work on the customer service skills.
Big variety of Japanese and Chinese dishes as well as a sizable sushi menu. They are good with COVID protocols and take your temperature upon arrival and the tables are spaced out for social distancing with limited capacity. I ordered the Tofu hot pot and it was amazing. I've never had house made tofu before and it was seasoned beautifully and full of flavor. Wait staff was very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend!
By far an absolute must stop in Lake Placid. The BEST Asian food I have ever had! Will make another trip just to eat there again!
Dirty place... not somewhere to eat during Covid. Food was less than average. Go to China City up the road.
