They will never get my business. My friend and I had talked about trying Mis Amigos for a few months. We took the 1/2 hour drive up and we were looking forward to having a nice, first dinner there. We read online that they opened at 5pm. We drove by the restaurant trying to find a place to park (which is not easy as it is on the ground floor of a hotel and the parking lot sign says for hotel guests only.). Bland! The gas station down the street has better mexican food. So first off the drinks were weak sauce like im more sober now than I was before.... then the food came, we ordered the tacos chicken pork beef shrimp and fish. The chicken was boiled and dry with no seasoning, the pork and beef were okay but lightly seasoned but the kicker is the fish taco! The fish taco was a frozen piece of fish out of a bag a literal fish stick! Don't eat here its a money trapSo now we're on the following day of eating at this awful eatery and we've had nothing but Diarra for hours maybe we got food poisoning from the chicken we don't know but to be on the strip in lake placid this has got be the one of the worst places to eat

Terrible. Waited over 20 minutes for drinks and over 30 for appetizers. Our table was dirty and had to ask twice to have it cleaned (and with no apology that it was dirty to begin with). When food finally came it was awful. Salsas definitely from a jar. Salad dressing from a bottle and terrible. Oh - and the margarita tasted like watered down lime water. Do NOT recommend.

Food was basic. Nothing special at all. Drinks were mostly sour mix and juice and tasted like no alcohol was added. We were praying dessert would make it worth it but it made it worse. All of our desserts were straight out of freezer and tasted old! Not worth the very expensive bill. Never again, do not recommend.

Was charged $6.00 for adding chicken to a small $8.00 taco salad. There was no notice under the Taco Salad on the menu indicating this overcharge was applicable to my order. The waitress said we still had to pay the $6.00 overcharge since there was a small note under the Caesar Salad in the menu that said adding meat (like chicken) was an additional $6.00. None of us ordered a Caesar Salad, by the way... Misleading the customer for more money... Lost my recommendation & business.

Chrissa told us that there was a wait of about 40 minutes because of a shortage of help. She was working with 2 servers and one cook. We gave her our cell number and was pleasantly surprised when we received a text shortly afterwards. Our server Jillian took our order and drink order and was very prompt. Curtis made some great burritos for my wife and I. We asked for a vegan burrito as it was not on the menu and was given our options and was able to choose. WE WERE NOT TOLD NO like in many other restaurants. Curtis the cook hit it out of the park with his burritos. We would go back anytime, we were treated like family.

I may have given Mis Amigos one star when they first opened…. Now, 6 years later they rocked it. The chicken in the chimi was fresh, the chips and red and green salsas homemade. It is apparent they have really upped their game and the food was amazing ! My sis had the ahi tuna salad and the tuna was prepared to perfection and the presentation was colorful and beautiful. I should have come back way before now. I hesitate to write a review because it will become too crowded and I’ll have to wait longer for a table but Steve, Krissa and the rest of the staff were fantastic (even with minimal staff our waitress was quick and attentive). Thank you for giving me a new restaurant to eat at in LP!

It seems like the vege came out of a bag.Im giving this place the stars for the service . The waiter was very friendly , he was very kind and smiling. He was a delight. If i return would be to have great service

Unsure of their hours we walked in 2 minutes prior to closing; they were awesome and were more than happy to accommodate us. Our drinks were delicious, as well as our food. Wonderful staff, tasty drinks and food: we will definitely be back! Highly recommend giving them a try!
