Upscale feel but still fun atmosphere. Baristas were professional and coffees were great. My wife got the special, which was a beetroot latte, which I've never seen before. Evidently was awesome! Exactly what we were looking for.

Love this place - have ordered the iced coffee & breakfast burrito many times and always hits the spot. I once got a burrito with chorizo in it by accident & they went so far as to deliver me a new one (I purchased in store to go!). Very nice people working here & running the shop.

Best coffee we had in Lake Placid! We are here for the eclipse and things are CRAZY so we expected the long lines but these guys handled it like pros. The wait time after ordering coffee was quick. I ordered the Orange Mocha Latte which was a special and might be my favorite latte ever.

Went in for coffee.Tried the Orange Moon - mocha with orange syrup and steamed milk.If you're a coffee drinker, stick with no-mixed-flavor black coffee or americano. Not just here - everywhere else as well, I mean. Don't ruin the flavor and aroma of good coffee beans with other flavorings and sweeteners. ✌️

As a small coffee shop i expected nothing better. Their decorations are great. The servers are nice and the coffee doesn't take long. The coffee is delicious and balanced. All in all a great small place to visit on your way out of lake placid.
Good coffee! Good pastry! Seats are few and uncomfortable to encourage you to drink your coffee and move along.

My wife and I were looking for some hot chocolate and we saw a review that was praising the hot chocolate.I truly underestimated how good hot chocolate can really get. This was great to have after ice skating

Origin was a great experience! We loved their decor, and the drinks we had were amazing. I had both their Guatemala Acantenango Gesha (medium roast) as a pour over and their Mediterranean Fog (a different take on the traditional London fog). I could pick out the tasting notes that they listed with ease, my favorite being the stone fruit notes. It was a perfectly executed pour over. The Mediterranean Fog was spicy and fruity, with an orange piece floated on top. It is warm and comfy like a wassail, a perfect winter drink. My partner had a mocha with mint syrup added, which was delightfully sweet and indulgent without feeling heavy and overly sweet like a milkshake. We didn't try their food, but the menu was enticing and we would have if we hadn't already eaten. The seating was plenty, but my only critique would be to add some different levels of seating and some armchairs/sofas for longer lounging. Most of the seating was on metal chairs and bar level.

the place is nice, a bit like Brooklyn cafes. coffee is ok, extra price for almond and oat milk. I also ordered an almond croissant and it was great. well filled. the atmosphere and service are nice. the cafe is located at the entrance to lp. A cross the street there is an ice rink. I will come back there
