Lovely vibes and the server Mark was delightful. An excellent addition to my romantic Christmas weekend with my husband. The price isn’t cheap but I feel the food/price/dining was very on-par with other small, unique fine-dining restaurants Ive frequented on vacation.We walked from a near-by hotel which was convenient as well.
If you want a quaint, romantic spot to wine-and-dine your sweetie, this is a great place. A bit on the expensive side, however, they have high-quality ingredients and a beautiful atmosphere. I had a fish dish, COD, and while the cod itself was mild, the whole dish was refreshing and tasty. Coming from the city, I’m spoiled with great food on every corner. Unfortunately for Lake Placid, all the restaurants on Mirror Lake have been disappointing. We drove past this place a few days during our time here and it was the best meal I have had in a while. The food was well seasoned and garnished, the meat was juicy and well-cooked, and the sides were amazing. Staff is extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions and the food was overall solid.
