WOW. My wife, sister, niece and I all came here while we on our honeymoon. We all agreed unanimously as we were leaving Lake Placid that this was our favorite food we ate the whole trip. We got the BBQ Nachos with chicken for our appetizer and they were absolutely the best nachos any of us had ever had in our life. Such a great blend of savory ingredients and a sauce a little on the sweeter side. I got the ADK gold chicken sandwich and it was also amazing. My sister and I each got a Pistachio Mai Tai to drink and as a pistachio lover I was not disappointed by any means. It's a little on the pricier side but for a special occasion it is a no brainer.

Nice spot on the main street with a deck overseeing the lake. Food was disappointing for the ambience and pricing. Be advised of the deck that is shaking noticeably. We were told it's normal.

0 Stars. Terrible service. My son & i sat at the bar. The barmaid (purple hair)was extremely rude. Couldn’t be bothered in serving us. Never asked if we wanted something from the menu or if would have liked another drink. I think i may have been a bit to tan for her liking. I will let all of my family & friend’s know that if there in the Lake Placid area not patronize this establishment.

This place is great! Absolutely beautiful out on the deck. Servers and hostess were very sweet and friendly. The food was excellent! I had the brisket gyro and it was enough to fill me up but I wanted 3 more because it tasted sooo good!

If you have multiple tabs make sure you seat at separate tables. They are not smart enough to separate the bills. And they get very nasty about it when you ask sorry but I will not eat there again.

The salad pictured was phenomenal! Cesar Salad au gratin, absolutely amazing! The whiskey sour was also so special, loved it! Our dinners were great too except the “carrots” served with the ribs. They were almost inedible. They were covered in a thick, dark sauce I can’t even describe. Wished I’d chosen a different side. Other than that, we had the pork chop, ribs, brisket gyro, and an order of the nachos as an appetizer. All of there were great.

Ruth Chris Steakhouse Prices, chain restaurants level food. The food was good, but you can get the same quality food for half the price at most other restaurant. The drink menu had a lot to offer in wines, and spirits, but not so much for the beer. I went knowing it would be expensive, but I expected far better food for the price. For one beer and two entrees, before tip, it was around $90, it was an alright meal. I will say though, it a pretty lake view and the stafg are very friendly and attentive
