Great Adirondack Brewing Company (formerly Great Adirondack Steak and Seafood)

We went for lunch, they were not busy but service was slow. The food was average at best, nothing to come back for. Three of us had the Caprese Chicken Sandwich and Chicken cordon bleu sandwich. It was just meh.

We had a waiter that never checked on us. The restaurant only had one other couple dining. The meal was mediocre at best. We pointed out to the waiter that we had something floating in our beers. He just said sorry and didn’t offer a new one or to take it off our tab. The lobster tail I ordered was so small and no taste. My husband had scallops that had no taste at all.. floating in water. We have been to this restaurant in the past and have enjoyed it. We won’t be back. $160 for two people for a meal that wasn’t worth $50. Very sad

The only restaurant that doesn’t put batter on there fries and I could not be more appreciative. The food was all surprisingly well prepared after a week of subpar meals at other establishments. The mango habanero duck wings were just the right heat and sweet. The burgers were perfectly medium rare, and the fries were delicious. Our only issue was our kids didn’t like the hot dogs but I think it’s because they were more like bratwurst. More an issue with my kids not the place.

Haven't been there in quite awhile. It was for many years our go to place when visiting lake placid. Disappointed tonight, our food was ok, nothing like it used to be, our salads came in a bowl on our dinner plates. My baked potato was hard and crunchy on the outside.No bread or rolls. Our waitress was nice. On the way out the hostess was so busy on her phone never said thank you, have a good evening, nothing. Our last time there.

I have been to this restaurant at least 8 times. It's always been great. Our waiter, maybe like of Russian decent, with some sort of accent, seemed like he could care less about us. Gave him the complete order. Wine came in about 5 minutes. Dinner arrived, no silverware, no extra plate as we had asked for. It took him about 4 minutes to return with them. NEvER came back and asked us how things were, if we wanted more, desert, another wine. I would have liked some salt and pepper but only saw him once. Dropped the bill on the table and didn't return for over five minutes. This time VERY disappointed. Food , chicken Marsala was very bland and too sweet with little Marsala taste. Sorry, but I'm not sure I'll be back soon.

They rebranded and they shouldn't have. 2 beers and a margarita were 35 dollars. Good stuff but not 35 dollar good. I had a burger, ordered medium rare, was over well done. Servers spoke broken English..no problem until when I disputed my $100 lunch and they couldn't help. Great memories here, but that's all they will be. We won't be back.

Our Bartender was very nice. The Cocktails were good however there was a strange selection of beers compared to other bars on the strip. For food we got the artichoke and crab dip, 0/10… very unenjoyable.

One of the last places I wanted to review from my trip last week. I got a great deal on a flight of 7 beers for $15. Each glass was a generous portion as well and all of them tasted great. However we decided not to eat here. A person in my family ordered a Cosmo and they seemed to either not know how to make it or skimped out on the Alcohol. We brought it up, they gave her a new one and it tasted just like pure cranberry juice.

They also need to have a burger on the dinner menu, it felt weird that they offered it on the brunch menu I saw in the bathroom but not the dinner menu, especially since every other restaurant offered similar menus with that and it just feels standard for a brewery to offer it.

The salsa side for my huevos rancheros was very rancid--turning white rancid. When I mentioned it to the waiter he didn't seem very interested.

Food took a while to come out even though we went off peak and there were only a few other diners there. Fries and soup arrived cold as if it sat in the back for 20 minutes before they brought it out. Imo there are better places to eat in lake placid given the price, quality and service.

Nous sommes allés à ce restaurant puisqu’il est dogfriendly. Nous avons bien été accueillis par l’hôtesse, mais le service était extrêmement long, près de 45 minutes d’attente. Aucun bol d’eau n’a été fourni à notre chien. Le rapport qualité/prix n’en vaut pas la peine, 65$ pour 2 bières, 1 entrée et 1 repas enfant EN PLUS d’un frais de 4% si la facture est réglée par carte.

Location is good. Indoor and outdoor seating. Service was friendly, but busy with crowded tables. Where the experience went wrong was with the food and beer. I had the IPA which was good and at an acceptable temperature. Two others had the Ausable Wolf red ale. Both ales were flat and close to room temperature. My wife had the chicken Marsala. She took one bite and immediately had to spit out the chicken. It was grossly undercooked. She said the inside of the chicken piece felt soft and wet. The piece visually looked undercooked inside also. The sauce was semi gelatinized and had more in common with a can of mushroom soup. I had the fish and chips. The fish tasted and appeared to have more in common with a frozen fillet from a supermarket freezer aisle. Not flakey, bland and had the taste of a fish past its prime. The fries were O.K..

I ordered the Grilled chicken caprese sandwich, took two bites realized chicken was under cooked and pink. Was not offered a remake or apology. Was taken off check . Left a bad taste all around
