Service was so horrible I was pretty surprised. Ordered a medium steak and it was definitely rare. Also ordered a salad with light dressing and it came out drenched in dressing. Won’t be back.
Overall lovely experience, breakfast buffet was well-presented and omelettes were made-to-order. This coffee is actually the BEST I’ve ever had from a chain hotel! It was clearly made with love, the correct water to coffee grind ratio, and neither too strong/robust or too “watered down”. Breakfast server was on point!
On the other hand, I’m giving this review 3/5 stars overall because of the bar service in the evening. Male bartender was not really friendly...

I usually avoid hotel restaurants, but this one is exceptional. A medium sized dinner menu, but with a good variety to please anyone. Dishes are very well prepared and tasty.
The place itself is outstanding - a large room with lofty ceiling and gigantic windows overlooking the town of Lake Placid, Mirror Lake, and the mountain backdrop.
I have eaten here several times and will continue to do so while staying at the hotel.
