Upstairs Grill Steak & Seafood

No issues with the service staff, but the food and overall experience were extremely disappointing. We ordered the lamb ribs and the ahi tuna. The lamb ribs were decent, but the gravy tasted like it came from a packet — clumpy and overly thick. The ahi tuna was still frozen in the middle, and the rice was clearly from a microwavable bag. Even the house wine was boxed wine.

Cleanliness was another major issue: there were dirty utensils left on the floor, a fly that wouldn’t leave our table alone, and no toilet paper in any of the bathroom stalls.

We paid over $200 for what was essentially a zero-class experience at first-class prices. Save your money and try one of the many other options around.

We sat at the bar here and did not order food because the vibe was off. Bartender was disheveled and the restaurant seemed to be operating poorly. We had to wait nearly 10 minutes for overpriced drinks. A rum and coke was $14 and draft beer 10$.

A little disappointing. Wife and I came for a good steak diner. We had the filet and shrimp cocktails amd cesar salad. It was cook to perfection and both the cesar and shrimp cocktails was amazing. Overpriced bottle of wine and more than regular service. It needs a little renovation or lots of love. We were left to ourselves for quite some time between services. Finally washroon need attention. Don’t expect 5*!restaurant it’s just average

We came at 3pm because we wanted wood fire pizza... only to find out that the pizza is on the dinner menu and that didn't start until 3:30. Bummer. Thankfully our server checked and they were preparing for dinner and we were able to order pizza a few minutes early!! They are now off a personal sized pizza (cut in 4 slices) and it was fantastic!! We ordered classic cheese and buffalo chicken pizza.. amazing! Our table also for a lamb gyro & lasagna. Great food!

I was very disappointed in the food I was served. Shrimp cocktail was four thawed medium sized shrimp on a bed of mixed salad greens and a bowl of cocktail sauce. I've made nicer presentations with what I have around my house.
I also ordered the chicken pesto pizza. The pesto was flavorless and the chicken was just chopped chicken fingers from the kids menu. Crust didn't taste like it was proofed. I ate one small piece.
Others in my party were happy with their meals, I walked away wishing I had gone elsewhere.

Staff and management were professional. Food was bad and, even for Placid, over-priced. We were seated in a space that had a food all over the floor. This place survives on tourists that don't know any better. Do not recommend.

Had a very good Wood Fired pesto chicken pizza and salad and shrimp cocktail. It was all very good. Ask the bartender who was our waiter to make my special drink which he did, and that was very nice. He was extremely attentive unpleasant really enjoyed the service and the food will return

We ordered jalapeno poppers and two hamburgers well done. Very easy order even for a little kid. Well, the jalapeno poppers were still frozen inside and the two hamburgers partially uncooked. We sent the food back and when he brought it back it still was inedible. The windows were dirty and the server looked like he had a skin problem As he was scratching constantly. Very disgusting place. And for this, and a few fat soaked fries, we paid over $100!!!

We sat at the bar and had a blast! The bartender was awesome. It was a great time reading all of the messages on the dollars!
