Ordered a quesadilla online. Barely any cheese, not enough to hold it together. Tortilla not grilled at all. Asked for lettuce and tomato, came with none. Guac very very salty, and I like my food a bit salty. I'm a local and work on Main St., very disappointed.

Not enough employees. Slow as can be and rather rude about their quirky ordering system.

Wyatt’s is a true gem if you’re craving Mexican food in Lake Placid. The flavors are fresh, bold, and authentic — you can tell everything is made with care. The tacos were perfectly seasoned with tender meat and just the right amount of spice, and the homemade salsas added a great kick without being overpowering.

I also tried the burrito bowl, which was packed with flavor and super filling. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and everything comes out hot and well-presented. The staff were friendly and quick, even during a busy dinner rush, and the casual, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.

If you’re visiting Lake Placid and want a break from typical bar food, Wyatt’s should be your go-to spot. Great value, great flavors, and genuinely great people running it. Highly recommend the carnitas tacos and chips with guacamole — you won’t be disappointed! 🌮🔥

I have never left a review before on anything and I never thought my first one would be a negative review. We are locals, my husband went to pick up our food tonight, expecting an online order, and stood there waiting for our food 10-15 minutes, staff having seen him come in and making eye contact with him. Another lady waiting finally asked about her online order and ONLY THEN were they told the ordering was down. Online ordering being down is not the issue btw, we’ve never had an issue with it before and it happens, that’s fine, but 10-15 minutes no service? No one else was there but my husband and that lady. Then finally when he was able to get serviced he got yelled at, not being dramatic, actually yelled at and given attitude by a staff member because he didn’t realize that on the menu it said they were out of brisket that day. My husband was absolutely shocked and did not deserve that behavior. I hope that this can be resolved.

In terms of the food, we’ve ate there a good amount, it’s not my favorite but my husband and most people in town really enjoy it, definitely fresh, priced affordable and fairly and is a good restaurant for Tex Mex take-out.

Tacos and burritos strangely tasteless and dry. Would not return.

Everything is ok. Like the food is fine, for lake placid thats one of the least expensive places to eat and get good portions. But nothing knocks your socks off. Theres a little table to eat at, but if its taken you've gotta hoof it with your food through town.

We picked up a couple of meals here for dinner to go. My wife had a burrito bowl kind of thing and I had a pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese on the side. Service was relatively quick, but my wife reported that her bowl was lacking a bit in flavor. My sandwich was good. Prices were reasonable for Lake Placid.

I was really excited to try Wyatt’s. The food came fast and looked good. However, it was all about the looks. The meat was bland, the rice was too soft, the queso didn’t taste like Mexican queso and the chips were store bought. I was disappointed and will be going to Chipotle from now on.

I wanted to explore the place based on the high rating, which I believe is mostly because of transitory nature of customers rather than a steady base considering the location.

I ordered grande chicken burrito with jalapeño cheddar tortilla, cilantro rice with chipotle chicken and I must say that this was the worst burrito I have ever had. The chicken was too salty and the rice was undercooked.

I wouldn’t recommend this place

The food portions were larger than I expected and it tasted pretty good but the noise leve I did not expect. It was our first time there. The vibe is more so a bar vibe but outside of that is was ok. Chill relax and drink a beer, then this is your spot

I was excited to try Wyatt's. I love trying independent places. It's located in the heart of Lake Placid center. The menu, photos, and reviews were good. The food came fast, but the portions were really small for the price. I had the brisket bowl which was really disappointing. The meat was a slab of fat. I ordered sour cream and the entire portion was bathed in it. Honestly, Chipotle, a chain, is a much better choice compared to Wyatt's. It really wasn't great.
