The meats were well-cooked - tender, moist, and good flavor. The one downside was that we ordered the largest meat platter they have to split with our family and there was only two slices of brisket with a huge mound of pulled pork.
Food was perfect, but had to ask for refills on drinks, and 2 of our party asked for o ice in their drinks, only 1 received that.
Only gave 4 stars on atmosphere because the music was somewhat loud, causing other tables' conversation to get ratcheted up too, then I couldn't hear what was being said. We visit here several times throughout the year and the food is always very good and tasty. We love the hushpuppies too. Today we did the Brisket Plate and the 1/2 Rack and 1/2Chicken too. Beans,Mac & Cheese, onion Rings and Fries. We were taking leftovers home for sure. We have been going here around 5 years now and always get great food and Service.
