Went for our anniversary was the worst ever we wanted to sit on other side but the person that seated us said there was no person to serve us there but 6 waitresses standing around laughing and not even doing anything. Then they tried making me walk all the way to otherside back.i can't walk very far I'm handicap. Next service was horrible horrible waitresses walked bye and bye until we had to ask another person to take our order it took them 45 minutes to serve us our meals I've been going to Davidson for 50+years so disappointing we will not be going back unless big time cha

I ordered the fish and shrimp. It came with fries, coleslaw, and a roll. It was delicious. I didn't care for the coleslaw because it had horseradish in it. I didn't expect that. Nothing wrong with that, I just have never had coleslaw with horseradish in it so if you don't care for horseradish don't get the coleslaw LOL. The people that worked there were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean. They have other items to order besides fish, but they are known for their fish so that is why I had the fish. I would definitely stop in again.

I’m so disappointed by our visit to Davidsons. I’ve been going there since I was a kid(Now 46).
I’ve moved away and this is always one of the restaurants on my bucket list of places to eat when I come home. Food was always so delicious with good portions. I alway get the same thing, their fried chicken and fries. The portions this time were ridiculously small especially for the price since their prices have gone up (just like everyone else’s). I asked the waitress if their sizes of their food shrunk and she said no, it was because I ordered dark meat. I assure you, that wasn’t the reason. I always order dark meat and it was never this pitiful of a portion. I hate to complain about this but I’m mentioning it because if this is their new standard in the quality and quantity of food they serve for the price then Davidsons days will be numbered. I don’t want the place that I have gone to for years to be a thing of the past. I’ve been told it’s under new management and these are their new standards of servings. Hope they go back to the way it was and what made it so successful for so many years.

I’ve been patronizing this restaurant for many many years. Today ordered online- 1 broiled fish dinner with baked potato and coleslaw and 1 fish fry dinner with fries and coleslaw for takeout. First, they forgot my baked potato and only offered to refund my account 50 cents. They said I could pick it up, but I just had surgery and did not wish to inconvenience my neighbor again. Broiled Fish was ok, but too salty. Fried fish was a little overdone. Usually spot on Davidson’s! I will not order to go again.

fish dinner w/ slaw! yummy!

I'm sorry to say that tonight will be my last dinner ordered personally at takeout at your restaurant. Time and Time again I have ordered a gravy and an extra gravy making it appoint to tell the person taking my order that she needs to ask at the window for an extra gravy. BUT she said she found the button on the register to order it. Let me say I told her and others that I don't care if it costs me extra, I just want it. And I was charged. Tonight I received NO GRAVY!!!! Very disappointed as I don't understand what the girls are doing checking the order before it goes out to the customer. Why do this?? Why should I have to check this?? Why did I leave a tip?? It wasn't done right and hasn't been with other previous orders. I am local supporting your restaurant through the winter but I can certainly go to Greenhurst or Bemus Point and make the extra trip to assure my order is correct.

Came here while we were in town. Food was great. Fish fry is the thing to get but the cowboy big D burger is also fantastic.
