The waitresses are great, they remember our orders to the point that we don't have to tell them anymore. Good is great, show is fantastic!

Perfect to go here in a small or large group. We will order off the menu if it's just a few of us, but we love going in a large group and sitting at the habatchi tables. Prices are a little high, but you get huge portions and the food has always been great. I also love that I can order easily online and pick up on my way through town.

My family comes here quite often. The food is good, and portions are generous. We are using here for sushi, but the hibachi is good as well.

Weekend dinner times can be busy, especially for hibachi. Call for reservations if you can!

First time here and honestly, I was let down. My order came out wrong, the steak was overcooked, and the fried rice was bland. The cook put on a decent show, and the staff were polite, but overall it just didn’t make up for the mistakes. Not planning to come back.

Very disappointing experience. We came in expecting a nice hibachi dinner, but almost everything about the visit was frustrating. Despite having a reservation, we still waited much longer than expected to be seated, and once we finally got to the table, service moved at an incredibly slow pace. The food was another letdown. The portions were surprisingly small, the rice was undercooked, and the steak was chewy and lacked flavor. Overall, overpriced, disappointing food, and poor service. Definitely not a place I'll be returning to.

Went to this place hoping for a fun hibachi dinner, but it was a total letdown. The food was bland, portions were tiny, and the rice was undercooked. The chef barely interacted with our table, and there was no energy or excitement—just a very boring, rushed experience. The service didn’t help either. The staff seemed annoyed, slow to respond, and uninterested in making our meal enjoyable. Drinks were forgotten, requests ignored, and the whole atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. For the amount we paid, I expected a much better experience. Between the poor food and unfriendly service, I definitely won’t be coming back.

A wonderful meal, celebration and could not have been happier!

Fuji Sushi & Steak House offers a lively, fun environment with attentive staff and excellent food.

My only complaint would be the lack of tofu options in regards to the entrees, but I can make it work with just vegetable dishes. For $86 (without tip included) we had the Shogun dinner, vegetable hibachi, age tofu appetizer, sweet potato roll and a soft drink. Portions were very large with the entrees, and everything was cooked well. We didn't really have one specific server however everyone that came around was very nice.

The restaurant is very lively, and when a birthday song played in the speaker system, it was VERY loud. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic date night, this isn't your spot. If you're looking for an upbeat, fun evening whether hibachi side or booth side, Fuji Sushi and Steak House is a wonderful choice.

We visited Fuji Steakhouse in Lakewood on 5/9 for a birthday celebration with a reservation for 16 guests. Unfortunately, 4 people from our party were unable to attend, leaving us with 12 guests still ready to celebrate, dine, and spend money. Instead of handling the adjustment professionally, our waitress immediately lectured the birthday guest (literally, out loud in the front of the restaurant) about the reduced party size and continued making snarky comments throughout the evening. Service remained cold, rude, and uncomfortable for the rest of the meal.

The hibachi chef was equally disappointing — very little interaction, no fun atmosphere, and noticeably smaller portion sizes compared to others seated at our table. The rice was undercooked, portions were tiny, but the bills certainly were not. He didn't offer Saki until once at the end, as our counterparts at the other side of the table had done it several times with their chef.

What stood out most was the overall attitude from all the staff. The vibe was ride from the waitress to the girls bringing soup/salad to the girl who cleaned the table. Rather than focusing on the customers who did show up, it felt like the entire team was irritated with us for circumstances outside our control. If reservations are such an issue, perhaps they should reconsider accepting large parties. (Of note, most of the bad reviews I am reading stem from reservation issues.)

The only positive part of our experience was the manager, who handled our concerns with empathy and professionalism, and we truly appreciated her kindness.

We have been coming here for years, but after this experience, we will not return. A little professionalism and kindness could have easily salvaged the evening, but instead it completely ruined our night.

Hibachi, quality entertainment while the food is cooked right in front of you...
Food 3 out of 5, tasted exactly like fresh brought out buffet food, only, I watched it being cooked. Salty.
Service, 5 out of 5, those girls were right on top of things, zero wait for drinks.
Atmosphere, 5 out of 5.
