Symposium Wine Bar

Symposium is exactly how a Sunday ought to start — Bloody Mary in hand, wondering why you don’t do this more often. They’ve got the best Bloody in town, no question. It’s bold, it’s balanced, and it fixes whatever mess Saturday left behind.

Brunch here is excellent, full stop. Real food, cooked by people who clearly care, not some “look at me” Instagram nonsense. And the sausage gravy? I’d put that stuff on my last meal request. It’s rich, it’s ridiculous, and it’ll ruin all other gravy for you.

The staff is great — friendly without being fake, quick without rushing you, and they somehow keep the place running smooth while you’re sitting there pretending this is the only responsibility you have today.

Here’s the thing I love: you can get a swanky glass of wine if you’re feeling fancy… or you can grab a Coors and mind your business. No judgment either way.

Symposium is one of those places that makes you sit back, relax, and think, Yeah… this is exactly where I’m supposed to be today. If your Sunday needs a reset button — or an excuse to stretch brunch into “early evening” — this is the place.

We had such a fantastic date night here. We had a small cheese and charcuterie board, the meatballs, crab cakes, and short rib ragu pasta. Our favorite was the meatballs and charcuterie but all of the dishes were great. The wine had a large selection. I also did the sparkling flight which was fantastic. I did want to mention the service, it was the best service we have had at a restaurant in a long time. We will be coming back!

I’ve been dying to check this place out and it was well worth the wait! Such a little gem in The Village of Lancaster. The atmosphere is gorgeous and very upscale with a huge drink menu to choose from. Our server was awesome & friendly…zero complaints!

Recently my husband had my 60th birthday party at Symposium. What a wonderful experience. The drinks, the food , the servers/ bartenders and owner super. Would highly recommend. All the guests had a great time and also sang their praises. Parking available a super plus. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped by for a “night cap” with my SO after date night. I ordered a glass of prosecco and he ordered a brown sugar old fashioned. Both were phenomenal!! The old fashioned was one of the best we have tasted! Staff were so pleasant, attentive and kind. The vibe is relaxed despite its upscale appearance. The owner was also walking around to make sure everyone was satisfied. We will be returning!

I am vegan and gluten free. They didn’t have anything on the menu that fit my dietary needs, so the chef created a whole new dish just for me. It was so thoughtful and super delicious!! They made me feel very welcomed. Thank you!
