We came in with a group of 5. A table was available of our size. We stood in the doorway for 10 minutes and were not sat, making eye contact with staff. Two men came in after us and sat at the bar and were given coffee, menus, etc. A group of 3 came in after us and stood behind us. We continued waiting and the people behind us decided to leave. We eventually sat after we asked if we should be waiting to sit. We were never approached. We decided to leave. It was not too busy for them to greet us and seat us.

I had breakfast there 3 times out of the 6 days that I was in town. And the food was fabulous! I guess the local farm
fresh and their cook make a good combination. If they were open on Monday & Tuesdays's I would have went back again. The service was very competent. Sorry I could get back to try the lunch menu.

Food was good, but service was terrible. The waitress was rude in all of her answers since we got there. I let it go at first, until she was rude to my friend. My friend has cancer and swallowing issues. My friend politely explained the swallowing issue and asked if her soup could be blended. Before she could even finish her question, the waitress said No! with a rude tone without even adding something nice, like “No, we don’t have a way to do that”or “No, we cannot accommodate that”. Her answer was short and rude with an awful tone and attitude. I’m guessing she’s the owner or manager, otherwise I can’t imagine how an employee with those manners would keep a job.
I wasn’t upset that she couldn’t accommodate our request on the soup, I was upset at the way she replied to us and her rude tone.
We don’t recommend going there unless you like bad service and rude staff.

Good food, but very slow service on my recent visit (even though there were not many customers).

My perfect breakfast sandwich. I had the B.E.L.T. and enjoyed every bite. Fresh, local ingredients, including the bacon, and you could taste it.

We are visiting the area from out of state. Googled places to eat breakfast and East Shore Roadhouse came up to try. We will definitely return. We visit this area annually and had never been. Wish we knew about it sooner. Even the coffee was delicious. Service was friendly and welcoming.Food was unbelievably good.

Back of house can whip up some mean food. Front of house really needs to work on their bedside manner. My table received attitude, I wondered other tables receive attitude. Really dampened the whole experience

I've visited three times now for either breakfast or lunch and enjoyed everything I've ordered. It tastes homemade and delicious every time. The service is friendly, informative and fast.

East Shore Roadhouse is a cozy, refreshed spot for breakfast and lunch—bright, welcoming, and a little more polished than your typical roadside café. It’s got a relaxed, friendly vibe and feels like a local favorite without being too “diner-y.”

We stopped in for breakfast and loved it. I had the breakfast sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying, and he had the omelet with bacon and home fries—everything was cooked just right, with crispy bacon and golden, well-seasoned potatoes. Portions are generous, and the coffee is solid (and refilled often!).

If you’re looking for a casual but nicely done breakfast or lunch near the lake, East Shore Roadhouse is a great pick—simple, tasty food in a space that feels both homey and up-to-date.
