Rustic old inn with a lot of history that has been nicely refurbished by its current owner Eileen who is on site and cooks and serves you a nice breakfast. The accomodations were nice enough and the room was reasonably well appointed and priced. There is a bar, The Corner Pub, that is attached serving your above average pub fare wirh a friendly crowd and staff. Seems like a local hangout. Not much to do within walking distance and not a place to walk due to roads and traffic. Close to Ithaca, NY though and fingerlake wineries along nearby five finger lakes. Brewery nearby but did not get to go.
Great atmosphere. Very nostalgic. Food was amazing. Always has been. Thank you.
The policy for cancellation is ridiculous. You have to cancel 14 days prior! If you need to cancel because of family issues you’re out of luck. They keep your entire stay!
Please get with the times, The Embassy Suits isn’t that strict! Very disappointed ☹️
Had a lovely experience at the historic Rogue’s Harbor Inn! The staff was absolutely tremendous, the breakfast exactly what I needed and the room was clean and well kept. I forgot something very important to me and they even offered to ship it back to my apartment in providence which was just the cherry on top.
Very much recommend to anyone looking for accommodations in Lansing/near Ithaca!
We had an outstanding experience at this historic 1830's Inn with lots of vintage touches to make the experience feel totally authentic! The owner/host was spectacular! They were wonderfully accomodating, and it made the stay absolutely delightful!
I was very pleasantly impressed with the atmosphere and quality of this inn. It’s conveniently close to Ithaca, but tucked away just up the lake. The rooms and building are elegantly and tastefully decorated, the furnishings are modern and well-maintained (especially for a historic building), the staff and Eileen are kind and accommodating, and it’s a great value for the price. I was especially impressed with how thoughtful and meticulous the experience was, both aesthetically and functionally. They carefully attend to the small details, whether in your unique room or serving you food in the dining atrium, and it makes a big difference in your experience. For anyone visiting the finger lakes, I’d expect coming to a place like the Rogues Harbor Inn will augment your experience in the serene countryside with its complementary refinement and sophisticated charm. And, it’s half the price of the more crowded competitors in Ithaca proper, but only a short (and pretty) drive away. I’ll be recommending it to friends and coming back sometime soon.
Very old building which has its own charm. The building is old and crooked and has little (sound) insulation. This is necessary given the location on two busy roads with loud traffic. The service was friendly but the breakfast was mediocre. The entire breakfast room was blue with greasy fumes. Considering the price you can expect better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay with Eileen. The breakfast was fresh and delicious every day. The rooms and house are decorated beautifully, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Eileen and the staff are genuine and easy to chat with. I will definitely recommend Rogues to anyone going that way.

I loved the atmosphere and character of staying in a place that was built in 1830. The breakfast was above average and gave a homey feeling,

We've stayed at Rogues Harbor many times and it's always great. The rooms are wonderfully appointed, the breakfasts delicious and the staff friendly and accommodating.
Highly recommend.

Not an enjoyable visit. Food was barely adequate. Service OK. Noise level much too loud to have an enjoyable evening with my date. Will think twice next time and probably go somewhere else.

Highly recommend. The room is spacious, very clean and the first floor lobby is full of amenities, from paper plates, plastic utensils, ice, coffee/tea/hot coco to a refrigerator for guests. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hostess and chef in the morning made our stay welcoming. As for the pub, connected to the hotel, after a 4 hour drive, arriving at 7pm on a Friday, we were thankful to walk through the lobby doors to the pub, have some good food without leaving the inn. To the reviews about the noise from the road, I live in an rural area that doesn't have autos or trucks go by so I'm use to it being quiet at night, so the cars that did go by, it was not disturbing. Lastly, the inn is very close to Ithaca which made it easy to go and come from downtown. I will stay here again when we visit Ithaca.

My partner and I were looking for an affordable, clean, enjoyable place to stay for a weekend to check out Ithaca and some hiking nearby. We couldn’t have found a better place. All weekend, we were saying how happy we were we ended up finding Rogues Harbor Inn. The room was clean, tidy, and beautiful. The bed was so comfy! The inn itself was gorgeous, what an amazing old building filled with antiques, yet still very modern! The breakfast was exquisite… and very generous portions. We’re already talking about coming back next year! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks so much!
