Have to agree with the recent reviews. The food was not what we were expecting at all. The bao buns were not flavorful, the sauce was rather watery. The buns broke immediately when we picked it up. We didn’t receive our beverages until after we finished our meals, only because we reminded them about the beverages. One of our guest at that moment refused their beverage due to frustration of the experience. Two of us ordered the same cocktail and they tasted different. The ramen dishes were extremely disappointing, the pork was tasteless. The broth was unflavored and the accompanying elements were also strange in flavor. Will not be coming back.

Went here after seeing 4.2 stars. Was very disappointed. Super cute place, very clean looking. Seated us immediately, however.. The water literally tasted musty we couldn’t drink it, it tasted like dust??? I don’t know if it’s because of the water or if the cups weren’t clean. Me and my girlfriend both ordered the chefs special. Probably one of the worst ramens I’ve had from a restaurant, i don’t know if this is just because i’ve been spoiled from living in the city or what. It first came with no toppings you have to pay for any thing on top. The broth was just weird ?? It was spicy and that’s about it. It claimed to be a form of chicken broth with a ton of different flavors involved and me and my gf both tasted none of it. I always finish ramen and I left about half the bowl, I only ate it bc I was starving. We did get the ani salad and that was really good! But for a place that was supposed to be ramen oriented, really did not live up to the standards.

Food was great but the hostess both times i went was rude on her phone and took a few seconds to acknowledge me while i just stood there. Really put a damper on the experience felt very unwelcoming. It sucks because we love ramen but dont love the service especially the hostesses hopefully they find someone who is pleasant and friendly to greet people and dont act bothered when we come in

The ramen was solid. Nothing to write home about but we had a bad experience with one of the employees. He greeted us with super low energy to the point where it was just awkward and then he brought us our bowls and his thumbs were in our food. Not professional

I extend my opinion based on the response I just received. To complement, we are a family that comes from the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico, where we have eaten extraordinary ramen from Japanese chefs, my family and I love this type of traditional Japanese dish, we did not want to miss the opportunity to try ramen that they prepare in New York, but for our bad experience in this place they did not allow us to pass, supposedly because they do not accept when there are many customers, neither together, nor separated by tables, in any way, this really bothered us, it even seemed like a racial posture or definitely exceptionally bad service. It is honestly regrettable, it is not possible in this country to be so rude in businesses that are supposed to serve food, I will send the email shortly for the record. Finally I hope that if this is the treatment that is given to international clients, no one better go to these types of places. DisappointingIn a terrible place, due to its terrible service. Even though they are empty, they do not serve families just because there are several people (12 customers). You cannot rate a place well that is not even willing to serve its customers. Zero rating.

One star. What's going on here? I come from out of the country, my family told me of this place, we had many good reviews of this place, but the service ruined it all. Naturally, I would go with my family, and when we arrived at the place they told us that they wouldn't attend us. We were about 16 people, and we would understand if the place was full. There was nobody eating. Not a single soul. Terrible place.

They didn't want to serve us. We were 16 people. They said we were a lot of people. The person was despotic and rude. They had no more clients. His argument was absurd. I don't recommend it. I highly recommend it.

I ordered the chef's special ramen and was disappointed. ☹️ The noodles were great (texture was exactly right and pretty good flavor) and you can't go wrong with slabs of pork, but the broth and other toppings were all wrong. There were pieces of cabbage, which I appreciate for the thought of adding leafy vegetables to my diet but it didn't work. Give me seaweed instead anyday. There were also pieces of pickled ginger, which I hate, and which I don't think belong in noodle soup. Then the broth was a mix of flavors that didn't do it for me. It's supposed to be a chicken broth with shoyu tare. I tasted neither chicken nor shoyu. It was rich, but the flavors were just not melding.

Happy to see a ramen place (along with other tasty Asian dishes) in Larchmont, including delicious, crispy kaarage. The ramen broths are decent (They don't taste like the deeply flavorful stocks one might find at a more authentic establishment) and in a pinch it will do. The add-ons, like enoki mushrooms, only enhance the dish. Our servers were terrific -- attentive and fast. The main and fairly significant drawback to this place is the insanely loud and obnoxious music that they insist on playing. It was difficult for our group to hear each other, and the noise from the speakers above and around us really made the overall enjoyment of our dinner there very difficult. I would give this place two stars if the food wasn't as good as it was. Hopefully management will read this and realize they should enjoy their favorite music at home and let us eat in peace.
