I admire this restaurant! They give awesome dishes, their menu is nice, The chef in that spot is well trained, I enjoy a lot tasting all their food. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service towards the visitors is nice. I go often to this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all.

We had our first visit to Bonasera's last night and loved it! Spaghetti and meatballs were yummy as well as chicken capricoso. The outdoor setup is fantastic and the live music was awesome! I loved it so much we're going back next week with friends.

We visited Bonasera's this evening for an outdoor dinner. We have not been here since the restaurant's first weeks of operation late in 2019. The difference is amazing - to the good. Where food on the first visit was adequate, and service was not good, tonight things clicked. Marina, the manager, was handing a number of tables with equal adeptness and attention. But the star of the evening was the food: my wife had grilled salmon that was beautiful prepared and served. I had - loved!! - the Chicken Capricosa (pounced chicken with a panko crust that held its light crispness to the very last bite, covered by an arugula salad with a whole burrata on top). It was perfect. We look forward to our next meal there.

It was a pleasant surprise, the staff was all over the place but I'm sure it was all due to reopening outside which they did a really nice job. I'll have to go back again when things are back to normal. Overall it was a good experience

Having lived in Milan and travel often, I will say Bonasera's is one of the best northern Italian restaurants in NY! The dishes are AUTHENTIC. I will say that the risotto and polenta taste exactly like they do in Northern Italy.. I highly recommend this restaurant- especially for those who appreciate Authentic style Italian food.

My husband and I checked it out for first time this past weekend and had a great time. Enjoyed the cozy but lively atmosphere- friendly engaging staff- and food was delish! Fun non alcoholic drink specials and love the idea of BYOB! Regular customer we sat next to raved about the various dishes on menu.Will definitely be back!
